Good Garlic Company

The Good Garlic Company is based in Wellesley, Ontario, the north-western township in Waterloo Region. Run by Daniel Marshall and Jason Carson, the farm operation grew significantly in 2021 when the two partners joined forces. Originally founded in 2017, the Good Garlic Company operated for six years on a small scale and started as a single-person operation with Jason Carson. After a setback during the COVID pandemic, The Good Garlic Company is back with new partners to help make the goal of introducing everyone to the quality and flavour of Canadian-grown garlic a possibility. We grow without synthetic inputs and seek to build the quality and sustainability of our soil through the use of cover crops and regular rotation. We are passionate about introducing people to Ontario garlic and what it can add to their plate, palate, and community. It is far too difficult to find consistent quality Canadian garlic in grocery stores and homes even when most Ontario garlic can be stored effectively throughout the Canadian winter. We aim to change this.
