Since our inception 4 years ago by a group of young professionals; we have steadily grown, delivering our rice to various shops and markets in Accra and Kasoa. We are currently working on a processing facility to deal with increasing demand. At Osaagyefo we work closely with farmers to help them improve the quality and standard of rice they deliver to the Ghanaian market. Our goal is to ensure that they are profitable, and we are also profitable enough to reinvest in our business and the communities in which we operate. Our mission is aligned with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and includes helping our outgrowers and other service providers to have Decent Work (SDG 8), providing safety gear (SDG 3), Educating farmers on responsible production (SDG 12) and providing financing at reduced interest (SDG1).

AgriCentric Ventures helps farmers produce more and healthier food in West Africa by buying farm waste and turning it into eco-friendly and low-cost biofertilizers, organic pesticides, soil amendments, organic animal dietary supplements, and feed. Our company is passionate about climate and business smart agriculture. We reduce growers and rearers’ cost for quality, safe fertilizer, pesticides, and feed needed to spur farm business. We work with smallholder farmers to strengthen their capacity for climate change, crop resilience, and replenishing the soil. Our goal is to help small-plot farmers to become medium-sized farmers through sustainable, cost-effective agripreneurial innovations. AgriCentric Ventures was founded in 2019 by Gideon Ohenepon No Ba Nyamesen, a young agricultural specialist and agripreneur. Our sustainable alternative to mass-market organic farm inputs is grounded on waste management innovations that drive an agro-based transition to a circular economy. This philosophy emphasizes the soil nourishing techniques Gideon learned on an uncle’s farm growing up and through continued agriculture and business education at leading institutions. The company markets directly to Ghanaian farmers by purchasing their agrowaste, treating it in bioreactors, and selling the bioactive fertilizers, pesticides, and animal dietary supplement back to farmers at a reduced cost. The company produces microbe-inoculant biochar from agrowaste and sells to farmers for the bioremediation of nutrient-depleted soils. We process fruit and vegetable waste into quality, low-cost feed for livestock and poultry farmers. Nyamesen’s vision for AgriCentric Ventures is to be at the forefront of environmentally sound and safe agriculture. We create innovative synergies between energy, water, food, and waste and engage in multi-stakeholder partnerships for agricultural problem solving.

We seek to provide high-grade quality products with integrity in our supply chain, by organically farming and processing non-GMO Cotton into lint, yarn, fabrics/textiles and Cotton seed oil, to sell globally to businesses in the Sustainable Luxury Sector. To minimise waste, our by-products will also be processed and sold. Our aim is to address: a) the damage that conventional Cotton practices causes to the Textiles ecosystem resulting in poor quality fabrics and clothing, b) the lack of available training and employment forcing many to beg on the streets including those with disabilities. Profits will be redirected towards community development and offering training and employment with fair wages to individuals, especially those with physical disabilities, in a bid to reduce street-begging in Ghana. Our core tenets are founded on Sustainability (in Production and Operational lines), Impact (to enable effective outreach) and Faith (as Missions), with a People-centric culture. We are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals to have: 1) No Poverty, 5) Gender Equality, 8) Decent Work and Economic Growth, 10) Reduced Inequalities, and 12) Responsible Production and Consumption. Anitrack

Anitrack uses its management tool to monitor livestock health and movement, notify the farmers immediately and link them with animal services. Livestock production is an important feature in Africa, contributing largely in meeting food needs, providing draft power and generating cash income for both small, medium and large scale farmers. However, majority of farmers face a major challenge where they lose over 30 percent of their livestock each year as a result of undetected diseases and more than 5 percent due to cattle rustling(theft). This contributes to a loss of over $4 Billion yearly in the agricultural sector. As the pace of the livestock industry in Africa accelerates, the need for accurate information gathered quickly is increasingly important in managing livestock. With this we reduce chances of animal loss significantly.
