Land Van Ons
Land van Ons is een coöperatie van en voor alle burgers van Nederland. De coöperatie heeft 2 doelstellingen: De eerste is om een nieuwe ecologische hoofdstructuur in Nederland te realiseren van onze cultuurgrond. Een netwerk van ha landbouwgrond, die op duurzame wijze wordt geëxploiteerd en daardoor weer een belangrijk areaal in Nederland gaat worden voor onze biodiversiteit. Het gaat hier om 15% van het huidige landbouwareaal in Nederland. De tweede doelstelling is om het eigendom van die grond bij ons als burgers neer te leggen. Los van korte termijn gewin of politieke controverses. Een bestendige lange termijnoplossing, die past bij het begrip "duurzaam". Dit vinden wij belangrijk omdat de grond, waarop wij met z’n allen leven, letterlijk de basis is onder ons bestaan. Het geeft ons de rust en de ruimte die we nodig hebben als tegenwicht voor ons hectische bestaan, waar het alleen lijkt te gaan om geld verdienen. Om het doel te realiseren zullen alle huishoudingen de bereidheid moeten tonen de aankomende 10 jaar gemiddeld voor €200 per jaar kapitaal beschikbaar te stellen, zodat de gronden kunnen worden aangekocht. In ruil daarvoor krijgt men een (verhandelbaar) grondeigendom uitgedrukt in m2. Bedrijven en instellingen zullen ook kunnen participeren, maar ingebracht kapitaal zal uitsluitend ten goede komen van natuurlijke personen.

Onze kwekerij, opgericht door Henk den Mulder, is gevestigd in het hart van de logistieke hotspot Greenport Venlo en heeft naast Nederland ook een zeer gunstige ligging ten opzichte van het Duitse Ruhrgebied en België. Wij bieden een compleet en kwalitatief hoogwaardig sortiment. De eigen productie speelt hierin een centrale rol; op een oppervlak van circa 200 hectare kweken we zo’n soorten laan- en parkbomen, karakteristieke sierbomen, meerstammige bomen, coniferen en solitair heesters. Dit brede eigen sortiment stelt ons in staat om te allen tijde een goed product af te leveren. Het eigen sortiment wordt aangevuld met onder meer bosplantsoen, kleine heesters, rozen en vaste planten van contractkwekers en collega’s uit de periferie van onze kwekerij. Door onze ligging in Grubbenvorst, in het hart van Europa’s grootste boomkwekerijgebied, hebben wij een totaalpakket aan bomen en tuinplanten beschikbaar binnen handbereik.
