Torres Farmers
TORRES Farmers is located in Brgy Cadawinonan, in the western part of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. The farm measures a total land area of 2,265 sq meters. The land was previously planted with coconut and corn. The farm was acquired with the vision of going into Swine raising, specially piglet production the natural way. In this type, the pigs are exposed in their supposed natural environment, leaving them on their own, comfortable, care free, and stress free. Natural piggery poses less strain on the environment. For instance, because the substrate gets mixed in with the poo, it can then be used as plant fertilizer. Thus, nothing is wasted. Everything is used and reused for something. Rooted on that aspiration, 4 pig pens of approximately 4 x 8m dimensions were erected. The pens were ergonomically designed suited for natural and odourless swine production. Rice hulls are being used as pen beddings which eliminate the use of large amount of water for cleaning and sanitation, as a result, the farm’s way of contributing to water conservation. Natural feeds that are free from animal by-products, artificial growth hormones and antibiotics, are also produced in the farm due to high price of commercial feeds. It is then the family’s plan to expand or rather transfer the enterprise’s location to the 12 Hectares land in Brgy. Datagon, Pamplona, Neg Or which is registered under the Negros Oriental Organic Mango Grower’s Association (NOrOMGA). The lot has fruit trees like mangoes, cottonfruit, calamansi, jackfruit, rambutan, and cacao, among others. Being an active member of NOrOMGA, practices employed in the farm are compliant to the European Organic International Standards.

Leonie Agri Corp
Leonie Agri Corp or LAC, is an agriceutical company engaged in the production and processing of wholly organic agricultural products for medicinal, health and nutritional use. LAC’s agriceutical concept finds its roots in the pharmaceutical heritage of its parent company, Pascual Laboratories Inc.(PascualLab), which inspired the idea of integrating organic agricultural methods with the pharmaceutical industry’s standards of hygiene and sterility. Located at the province of Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, in the Philippines, this farm and organic manufacturing facility has grown to be the largest certified-organic farm and manufacturer of natural, organic raw materials in the Philippines. Before its rehabilitation, the area on which LAC’s farmlands stood was once regarded as a “cursed land”. Most of it was arid and deemed unproductive and deteriorating. Today, it is a fruitful and thriving countryside, thanks to a combination of innovative farming technologies, the application of sound ecological management, a community development thrust, and strong ethical values. While LAC was established mainly to supply materials to PascualLab which pioneered herbal products such as ASCOF Lagundi and RE-LEAF Sambong, in the past 15 years it has proven to be a great resource for organic raw materials, enabling it to open its doors to both local and international clientele, with a much longer list of products and services.

Pronatural Feeds Corporation
A History of Quality Antibiotics are incorporated in most conventional hog feed to treat illness, prevent diseases, and promote growth in pigs. However, the overuse of the drug in pigs can contribute to the spread of antibiotic-resistant pathogens that are harmful to humans As an alternative to antibiotics, Feedpro uses probiotics to support growth and prevent illness, by improving the pig’s intestinal microflora. Feed Innovation and Expansion With no antibiotic growth promotants in its formulation, Feedpro ensures a healthier pig with high levels of immunity and resistance to diseases. Its unique formulation of natural ingredients and highly digestible plant-based proteins produces clean, safe, and natural eco-pork. The innovative feeds complimented by a natural method of growing pigs not only helps protect the environment but also ensures big gains in business. With its initial success, Feedpro expanded its sales operations to the whole of Luzon in 2005. In August 2010, Pronatural Feed Corporation was established as a distinct entity to handle Feedpro. It was also in that year that Feedpro was introduced in Visayas and Mindanao.
