Helix Lab - Kalundborg
Helix Lab is a research and education center in Kalundborg, which strengthens collaboration between industry and academia. It supports and accelerates the transition of new academic research into solutions that drives industry 4.0 and sustainable transformations in the industry. MSc students enrolled at Danish universities have the opportunity to do a master thesis project on bioproduction, circular production and industry 4.0 in collaboration with the Kalundborg industry at Helix Lab. The ambition is to create an attractive learning- and scientific community that educates and develops talents locally, while strengthening the collaboration between the universities and Kalundborg bioindustry regarding research and innovation. Helix Lab provides leverage for developing the Kalundborg bioindustry into an international cluster for industry 4.0 bioproduction and industrial sustainability. The bioindustry cluster counts international actors such as Novo Nordisk, Novonesis, and Kalundborg Refinery, more than industry workplaces and one of the largest bioproduction facilities in the world.

The University of Copenhagen's Department of Mathematical Sciences conducts internationally competitive research and education of candidates in pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The Department is housed in building 04 at H.C. Ørsted Institutet, Universitetsparken 5, 2100 Copenhagen Ø. We are part of Nørre (North) Campus. The Department offers three bachelor's and four master's programs - plus an interdisciplinary mathematics / computer science bachelor's program. There is also ample opportunity to supplement your professionalism with continuing and further education. The development of mathematical theories and models as well as their applications is the cornerstone of research at the Department. Much of the mathematical research is developed in mutual interaction with other fields. For example, in interaction with physics, medicine (through statistics) and acturial science (through probability theory). Bioinformatics, finance, operations research are examples of new fields that are included in the Department's research profile. The applications often come from theories that are otherwise considered purely abstract. Four sections and a wide range of internationally recognized research groups form the core of the department's research.

Empowering Innovation and Entrepreneurship. DTU X-Tech is the flagship incubator-course at DTU Entrepreneurship, where companies collaborate with driven student teams to explore new business opportunities through cutting-edge technologies, inventions, patents, or specific problems. Over a dynamic 13-week program, we pair the case with a dedicated team of carefully selected 4-5 master's students and a business mentors. Teams are equipped with prototyping facilities, a project budget, and access to expert specialists in areas all from product development, business strategy, prototyping, finance, market approach, and IP rights. The program includes a series of inspiring lectures by renowned Danish entrepreneurs and encourages teams to engage with key stakeholders across various markets. Teams work to validate their ideas through intense and dedicated support from experienced faculty. The semester culminates in the DTU X-Tech Finals, featuring a Tech Expo, Pitch Competition (lion's Den), and the DTU X-Tech Awards, where top teams compete for cash prizes. This includes a DKK first prize, DKK second prize, and an opportunity to continue their startup journey through accelerator programmes, specialized courses, and/or mentorship. Teams ready to take the next step can advance to our DTU X-Tech+ programme, where they receive a board of advisors and further support to launch their venture. By the end of the program, teams will have developed prototypes, market-validated business models, and be poised to spin out into fully-fledged startups. Nordic Study Abroad Community
Nordic Study Abroad Community (NSAC) is a non-profit international student community and organiser of the annual NSAC Conference, which aims to bring together and help ambitious Nordic students to study abroad. Our organisation consists entirely of students - a group of tremendously hardworking and driven volunteers, whose motivation sparks from their own ambition to study at the best universities in the world as well as from their desire of making a difference for other ambitious Nordic students. NSAC is politically neutral and all our revenues are strictly reserved for NSAC purposes. This also means that none of the students working on the NSAC Team receive any remuneration. Nevertheless, we all gladly commit to the NSAC mission of helping and inspiring fellow Nordic students to pursue education at the best universities abroad, as we are confident this will foster talented Nordic millennials, who are international and diverse citizens of a globalised world. CREATE is the Center for Computational Research in Emergent Architectural Technology and Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark, led by Associate Professor Roberto Naboni The Center explores novel architectural processes and solutions at the intersection with the fields of computer science, advanced manufacturing and emergent material technologies. The group also coordinates CAE’s activities in the field of Industry 4.0 and VR/AR/MR. In its physical infrastructure, the CREATE Lab are studied future scenarios of constructions, from disruptive concepts to applied research, bringing together design and making through technology. CREATE Lab is the WASP Hub for Denmark and part of an international network of digital fabrication.
