Archiopedia
In a nutshell: Archiopedia is a project of investigative encyclopedism. Archiopedia is both an encyclopedia and a collection of digital archives. It is thus a tribute to both the Western spirit of encyclopedism and the Eastern culture of sylloge. The Archiopedists aim at producing periodically updated, concise and thought-provoking entries, based on original research and direct engagement with primary sources as well as secondary literature. At the same time, they try to digitize sources not yet available online and store born-digital materials on a variety of topics. We support a three-fold agenda: 1) overcoming the current fragmentation of knowledge by reforging a universal approach through interdisciplinarity, 2) creating a common scientific language by minimizing the academic jargon and enriching the vernacular, 3) helping civic action by endorsing an ethos of scientifically informed political engagement. Ethesis - Complete Thesis Management
eThesis is an online theses management tool, that is designed to help students, professors and universities in handling theses applications and implementations. In eThesis, professors can upload their available theses topics and students (in the same department) can request those topics to implement. All theses ideas in eThesis will be tagged with keywords and students can find relevant theses to their interests, thus making the experience even faster and helpful. Also, students can propose thesis topics to their professors, discuss it and then finalize the assignment. When a thesis topic is assigned to a student, both student and professor have a shared space which we call MyThesis. In that page, they will find research methodologies to follow, share files and organize them, add notes and chat privately, greatly improving the efficiency of any thesis implementation. In this step we provide step by step guides for all kinds of assignments (quantitative, qualitative, lab etc.) and research methodologies. Also we integrate the most popular research tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, Scopus and many more to come. Finally, when a thesis is completed, the professor can grade it and then they can publish their work in internal or external theses publishing platforms. In this stage we want to promote the best theses and help them to join incubator and accelerator programs to make them a reality. All processes are designed to work and integrate with existing systems in public and private universities and all their respective programs (Bachelors, Masters, PhDs).
