Guam Radiology Consultants
Guam Radiology Consultants is the premiere Imaging and Interventional Radiology center in Micronesia and the Western Pacific region. Our expansion over the last nearly 20 years has been driven by a commitment to provide the type of care we believe our patients deserve; the type of care we want available for our families, our neighbors and ourselves. Since our doors opened in 1997, GRC has provided leading edge technology for Guam, complimented by an experienced and highly regarded staff and Board Certified Radiologists. We remain the only facility to offer the complete spectrum of imaging and interventional services, from x-ray and CT Scan, to 4D ultrasound, digital mammography and MRI. We also provide bone mineral density studies, echocardiograms. We recently introduced outpatient treatment of kidney stones in our state-of-the-art ESWL suite. We encourage you to browse our website and learn more about who we are and how we may be able to help you – whether you are a patient who has recently moved to Guam due for your annual digital mammogram, a pregnant patient wanting the best ultrasound available, or a health care provider on Guam, at CHC in Saipan or BNH in Palau seeking guidance in the selection of an imaging study that might help you arrive at a diagnosis. It has always been our commitment to bring the latest and best diagnostic technology to our region. As new equipment is developed and becomes available, we add it to GRC as soon as we see it can help us continue to raise the level of care on Guam. We’ve been doing it consistently for nearly 20 years. We have grown steadily and are always seeking to fill voids in care. Just last year we opened the region’s best Cardiac Catheterization Suite. More than our cutting edge technology, here at GRC we are most proud of our partnership with the people who call Guam, Saipan and Micronesia home. We never turn patients away based upon their financial or insurance status. We raise our families on Guam. If we can make our community a better place to live, our kids will grow up in a healthier and more vibrant community. Our part in this process is to ensure that all members of Guam’s community have access to the best quality care we can provide. As technology continues to develop at amazing speeds, we have made a point to make sure we move at the same pace. Our radiologists visit top end facilities around the world to ensure we meet the same standards provided at the best hospitals anywhere. Our Director of Interventional Services, Dr. Eric Spak, is an Associate Professor of Radiology at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He teaches there several months a year and brings back knowledge that keeps us ahead of the curve. The borders and oceans that separate Guam from the rest of the world are easily crossed with Teleradiology. We have made telemedicine/tele-radiology an integral aspect of our daily clinic operations. We have partnered with some of the world’s leading healthcare providers, most recently adding Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Now, the region’s children have a dramatically improved chance at an early accurate diagnosis when facing a serious cardiac condition. Gone are the delays that used to come with living on Guam. We readily consult with experts as far away as Iceland, where U.S. Board Certified subspecialists provide expert opinions. Our expertise is also sought far from Guam’s shores. As our reputation has spread, the demand for our services via teleradiology have grown too. We expect Guam’s ideal geography will see this part of GRC continue to expand. Please take a look at our website’s teleradiology section and you’ll see why.
