Waukee Public Library
Waukee Public Library is located in Waukee, Iowa. Waukee is one of the fastest growing cities in Iowa and is ranked as one of the top places to live in the nation. Built in 2003, the library is nearly square feet with a collection size of more than items. We serve the residents of the City of Waukee, the Des Moines metro and Dallas County. The Waukee Public Library offers many programs and events for children, teens and adults. The library features two unique museums built with generous donations; the Hal Manders Baseball Museum opened in 2009 and the Ori Coal Mine Museum opened in 2012. The Waukee Public Library is a city department and the majority of funding comes from the city through property taxes. The library also receives funding from Dallas County and the State of Iowa based on certain usage statistics. The Waukee Public Library Friends Foundation provides additional funding for the immediate and long-term needs of the library through generous donations from our community residents and businesses.

Bagaduce Music Lending Library
Our mission is to collect, preserve and lend printed sheet music and scores, and to provide music education programs. The Bagaduce Music Lending Library was established in 1983 with its first home in the garage of its founders on the coast of Maine, where the Bagaduce River meets Penobscot Bay. Soon outgrowing our original space, the library was moved to its present home in Blue Hill, Maine. We have grown to become an international resource center for printed sheet music and scores, housing numerous collections of music representing all genres of written music except marching band music. We remain a non-profit organization funded through memberships, small lending fees, and private fundraising. The heart of the our existence is our intrepid crew of volunteers.
