In particular, cats who suffer from allergies can struggle with processing cat food designed to optimise profits rather than optimise health. Cats should not be eating vegetables or grains, soya or eggs. Any of these ingredients in cat food can lead to obesity, poor insulin responses and diabetes, and digestive problems. The founders of 3coty® had an allergic cat and decided to set out to find a long-term solution to the suffering of their beloved cat Cookie. Their backgrounds as a cat breeder, international cat judge and long-term cat-lover, and a biochemist focused on nutritional matters provided them with the necessary knowledge to embark on the research. Their cat provided the motivation! They developed natural cat food free from most allergens, such as preservatives, colourants and fish oils.
