Sortiment produkce je velmi široký a stejně široká a různorodá je i struktura odběratelů, kterým společnost garantuje kvalitu a standardy produkovaného uhlí. Společnost ročně produkuje řádově 23 mil. tun uhlí a je největším producentem hnědého uhlí v České republice. Posláním společnosti není pouze těžba uhlí pro energetiku. Plně si uvědomuje nutnost odpovídající kompenzace využívaných přírodních zdrojů v podobě zahlazování následků důlní činnosti. Důsledná příprava a realizace obnovy krajiny a ekologické stability území po těžbě hnědého uhlí je jednou ze základních součástí činnosti společnosti.
