La société Aciéries et Laminoirs de Rives fait partie du groupe Forlam, spécialiste français dans la transformation de l’acier, organisé en trois branches : Le laminage avec ALR-Bonpertuis; La forge; La clôture. La branche Laminage regroupe 3 sites en Isère. Elle compte, début 2021, 270 personnes et réalise un Chiffre d’Affaires de 52 M€. Elle fabrique des profilés métalliques (acier carbone ou inox) qu’elle commercialise en France et à l’international sur les marchés de l'automobile, mécanique, serrurerie, coutellerie, énergie, industrie ferroviaire et ferronnerie, principalement. ALR est un des trois site de la branche Laminage avec les Aciéries de Bonpertuis (65 p à Apprieu et 35 p à Domène) L'activité industrielle d'ALR préexistait sous la dénomination des ETS. P. EXPERTON-REVOLLIER, créés en 1810 et qui fabriquaient des outils à main d’agriculture, dont ALR dépendait jusqu'à fin 2017. La société fait depuis partie du groupe FORLAM. L’entreprise répond à des besoins de produits spécifiques nécessaires à une clientèle ne pouvant se satisfaire de produits standards à travers une production de 40 tonnes/an. 170 collaborateurs 40 Tonnes de production annuelle m² surface de production 2700 références produits Notre activité principale est le laminage à chaud en barres et vente de profils marchands et spéciaux en acier. Nous avons ensuite des moyens techniques de parachèvement nous permettant de faire dressage, coupe, perçage, poinçonnage et recuit. Nos produits sont fabriqués en conformité avec les normes européennes d’application ou des spécifications particulières requises par les clients. Pour cela nous possédons un laboratoire avec des moyens de contrôles performants et adaptés aux exigences de qualité particulières de nos produits. ALR est certifié ISO 9001 depuis 2003 et bénéficie d’agréments de fourniture pour les principaux réseaux de chemin de fer européens tels quel SNCF, Deutsche Bahn, Infrabel, Network Rail, …
