گروه صنعتي شكفته در دهه 1330 با يك كارگاه ريخته گري ساده توسط آقاي حبيب شكفته فعاليت خود را با ريخته گري و توليد انواع لوازم سنجش آغاز كرد و اين روند توليد با پيشرفت خاص خود تا دهه 1360 ادامه يافت. در ابتداي دهه 1360 با توجه به نياز روز كشور و عنايت خاص مديريت مجموعه توليد انواع قطعات كارخانجات قند و شكر قطعات ريلي ، قطعات خودرو ، قطعات كشاورزي ، قطعات گازرساني و همچنين قطعات فورج آغاز گرديد. از اواخر دهه 1360 همگام با روند تغييرات نيازهاي روز كشور اين شركت توليد مقاطع فولادي را آغاز كرد. از اواسط دهه 1370 با توسعه تكنولوژي توليد اين گروه براي اولين بار در ايران با ساخت ماشين آلات نورد كه طراحي آنها نيز در همين شركت انجام گرديد نورد انواع مقاطع فولادي منجمله مقاطع خاص فولادي را براي اولين بار در ايران آغاز كرد كه گام جديدي در عرصه توليد نورد گرم مقاطع فولادي توسط اين شركت برداشته شد. از دهه 1380 تا 1390 توسعه کمی و کیفی خطوط نورد و ذوب در قالب خطوط و کارخانجات مختلف در دستور کار گروه قرار گرفت. از اواخر دهه 1380 شروع مطالعات و اقدامات احداث مجتمع فولاد مورد توجه قرار گرفت.

In this complex, 430 kA technology with 94% efficiency has been used, which is one of the most advanced technologies in the world. The advantage of high amperage in aluminum production lines, in addition to increasing production per unit time, is reducing rate of investment and ultimately achieving more economical production. It should be noted that the maximum amperage of production lines used in Iran before the supply of this factory was 220 kA with 92% efficiency.
