INEOS Tyssedal ilmenite upgrading facility has a long and stable production history, having commenced operations in 1986. It is one of only six such operating facilities of its type in the world and the only one in Europe. INEOS Tyssedal is part of INEOS. ETI upgrades ilmenite to produce the co-products high-purity pig iron - sold to ductile iron foundries - and high-value titanium slag, primarily sold to TiO2-pigment producers and titanium metal producers

Norfrakalk As
NorFraKalk was founded in 2004 by the Norwegian company Franzefoss Minerals AS (50 %) and Finnish Nordkalk (50 %). The company produces quicklime for manufacture of the paper pigment PCC. The production is based on one of the largest sources of limestone in Europe and is a pure and white quility. Production was started late 2007. The kiln has a capacity of 200 tonnes quicklime per annum. The kiln is based on best available tecnique (BAT) ensuring effective energy utilisation and minimal emissions. Production is placed at Verdal Harbour where the end product is transported by ship providing a good logistics solutions.

Store Norske was founded in Longyearbyen on the island of Spitsbergen in the Arctic Ocean in 1916 and was historically a coal mining company. Today, the company no longer operates coal mining and has transitioned into a diversified group with activities in property management, logistics and energy. The company is owned by the Norwegian government and contributes to ensuring safe, year-round workplaces and income for the Norwegian family community in Svalbard.

Future Materials Norwegian Catapult Centre is an industrial piloting and demonstration center available to industry, Research Technology Organisations (RTO), SME's and entrepreneurs. Future Materials Norwegian Catapult Centre offer customers extensive competence within materials technology with core competence in pilot testing on an industrial scale. Our service portfolio covers minor analysis and tests to pilot production in industrial equipment. Our services are tailored to the customers demand. Future Materials offer equipment from a broad range of categories such as pyrometallurgical furnaces, powder production, polymer expertise, 3D printing technologies and laboratory analysis. Future Materials Norwegian Catapult Centre is established by industry with support from The Industrial Development Corporation of Norway.
