Glomar Minerals
The global demand for critical minerals is accelerating, driven by advancements in strategic industries including defense, advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and energy. Polymetallic nodules provide a diversified resource, containing critical minerals capable of transforming global markets. Responsible resource development is essential to securing the future supply of critical minerals. Glomar builds on over five decades of experience in deep-sea industries. UK Seabed Resources (UKSR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Glomar Minerals, holds two exploration contracts for mineral-rich polymetallic nodules in the Clarion Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean. These contracts are regulated by the International Seabed Authority (ISA) and sponsored by the UK Department for Business and Trade. Glomar Minerals was founded in 2025 and acquired UKSR the same year. Glomar Minerals stands on the shoulder of the work done by the previous owners of UKSR—Lockheed Martin and Loke Marine Minerals.
