Composite Conveyor Rollers
Composite Conveyor Rollers-CCR- manufactures high performance composite rollers for the toughest, most demanding conveyor applications. Our composite rollers are installed in conveyor applications in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Kenya, Congo, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden at -40℃; Canada in copper and iron ore pellets at -50℃, and on load out terminals on the West Coast and East Coast of North America. In Indonesia our rollers are installed on big underground belts; and in India in fertilizer and cement on belts with speeds exceeding 9 metres per second, conveying more than 12 tons per hour in copper; and in iron ore, gold, and platinum mines to super sticky fertiliser and sugar plants. We know about specialised tube materials - our team can design flame retardant (V0) rollers, conducive for grain and coal load out terminals amongst other things in our arsenal. Our composite rollers are lighter than steel by up to 60%. These rollers are acid-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and capable of handling a range of demanding applications. Think of using a standard Ultra High Molecular Weight roller as an impact roller lasting 12 months under a chute dropping 9 tph of material onto the belt. We believe that composite rollers, if well-designed and constructed, can compete directly and exceed the performance of steel rollers in almost every application. We see ourselves as unique problem solvers with a unique perspective on the performance of composite rollers and related materials that offer unique solutions to historically difficult to solve problems.

Better Explosives Management Through Digital Transformation Driving rapid digital transformation in the mining industry with solutions that bring data insights from the pit to desk The Problem: Operators on the bench do not have easy access to information regarding the state of a hole or the quantity and type of explosives that have to be delivered to each hole on a blast pattern. Holes are filed to stemming height, ignoring cracks, voids, long/short drilling, etc, and not the actual design weight. There is minimal data available for analysis about what in reality happened on the bench, before or after blasting. The data that exists is often incomplete and difficult to analyze What we do: Electronically record actual real-time survey (as drilled hole/water depth, differential GPS position, and photos), priming (boosters/detonators installed), and charge (explosives loaded) data on the bench as it happens Provide operators on the bench with accurate per-hole charge information Real-time web-based reporting and monitoring of what is happening on the bench, from anywhere in the world Exceptions management (driver speeding, overloading, hole conditions, etc.) Real-time exception notifications Data exports to 3rd party systems Value: Accurate blast information prior to the blast Data-driven decision making Continuous improvement Manage exceptions as they happen Ability to track and monitor over/under loading of holes Determine the actual cost of a blast Post blast investigation tool Safety review for overloaded holes prior to blasting Internal audit tool for invoicing and reconciliation Explosive, booster, and detonator reconciliation Reduce explosives cost and CO2 emissions Manage truck utilization Automated blast reports
