Monmouth Museum
The Monmouth Museum is a private, non/profit organization established in 1963 as the result of a needs assessment conducted by the Junior League of Monmouth County. Until 1973 exhibitions were housed in storefronts and other available temporary spaces. A permanent home for the Museum was built in 1974, entirely from private funds, on the Brookdale Community College campus, on a two acre site leased from the college. The Museum is one of the largest private museums in New Jersey, with an annual attendance exceeding Mission Statement: The Monmouth Museum, a Museum of Ideas, presents changing art, history and science exhibitions to educate and entertain while providing a destination for creative expression and life-long learning to the diverse community it serves.

The Health Museum
The Health Museum is an interactive health science center, a Smithsonian Affiliate, and a member of the Texas Medical Center. In the Amazing Body Gallery, our first permanent exhibit, students embark on a voyage of discovery through the human body and explore science via interactive modules and kiosks, staffed Discovery Carts, and larger-than-life models of human organs. Our state-of-the-art, bilingual DeBakey Cell Lab allows patrons to conduct real experiments with authentic lab equipment and goes beyond standard science demonstrations. This cutting-edge, exhibit features eight unique lab stations that use video and audio prompts to encourage visitors to try a variety of chemicals, tests, assays and real-world scientific experiments to replicate medical and health science-related research or experiments conducted in the Texas Medical Center. The McGovern Theater is reserved for special viewings of educational films, hosting lectures, luncheon series, school field trip dissections, and seminars. Traveling Exhibits in The Sue Trammell Whitfield Gallery offer ever-changing, dynamic content for The Health Museum, and in turn, bring health education alive in a way that traditional classroom study cannot. Drawing upon Texas Medical Center resources and the expertise of our education staff, The Health Museum creates interactive programming that is fun and makes a lasting impact on young minds.

An LLC of the George Kaiser Family Foundation, the American Song Archives is dedicated to preserving the legacy of America’s most enduring and inspiring songwriters. The American Song Archives manages, preserves, and provides access to countless treasures of American creativity from the core collections of the Woody Guthrie Archives and the Bob Dylan Archive, as well as the collections of Mitch Blank, Ron Cohen, Cynthia Gooding, Jules Halfant, Stetson Kennedy, Harold Leventhal, Phil Ochs, Tom Paxton and Dick Weissman. Cannonball Arts
Cannonball Arts is a contemporary arts and entertainment center located in the heart of downtown Seattle, on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Virginia. Spanning two floors, this square foot, concrete constructed building provides a mixture of traditional and non-traditional arts programming designed for a wide audience – specifically catered to tourists, families and arts patrons both regionally and internationally. It is designed to present and celebrate a broad range of West Coast creativity across mediums and genres, proposing a new model for an art center that is inclusive, interactive and participatory. Cannonball Arts defies traditional categorization – it is not a museum, nor a gallery, not an art fair or an amusement park, but borrows and draws inspiration from all of the above. This intentional mixture of commercial and non-commercial work, traditional and non-traditional, immersive and contemplative is constructed with one primary motivation: retain and grow our regional arts communities.

Ku Biodiversity Institute And Natural History Museum
The Biodiversity Institute’s worldwide collection of over 11 million specimens and 2 million archaeological artifacts encompass the study of archaeology, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, mammals, plants, fungi, parasites, insects, and fossil plants and animals. More than 100 research scientists and graduate students in the institute study biological species, ecosystems, evolution and cultural artifacts. They use this information to model and forecast environmental phenomena that are critical to human well-being, including threatened and endangered species, the potential spread of diseases and pest species, the effect of climate change on Earth’s biodiversity and habitats and more. The KU Natural History Museum, part of the Biodiversity Institute, is home to four floors of public exhibits including the historic Panorama, live snakes and insects, a unique living Paleo Garden, vertebrate and invertebrate fossils, the flora and fauna of the Great Plains and more. The museum provides content-rich, hands-on informal science learning for school groups in grades K–12, KU student programs and a wide range of public programs and events for all ages.

Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum
The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Mississippi's agricultural and forestry industries, as well as agricultural aviation. The museum has ongoing exhibits, events, and educational programs. In 1969, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Jim Buck Ross, recognizing a need for the preservation of our culture and heritage in a tangible way, began collecting artifacts, organizing scholars, and laying a ground work for a museum. In 1978, the City of Jackson donated a valuable 39 acre site on Lakeland Drive and Interstate 55. This land could only be used for recreational purposes under specified stipulations of the State of Mississippi, which originally had owned the land. In that same year, the Mississippi Legislature appropriated $1.5 million for the construction of the Museum building. Funds from this appropriation were used to complete the structure itself and another $1.5 million was sought from the private sector by the non-profit Agriculture and Forestry Museum Foundation. The money raised by the foundation was used to construct permanent exhibits, a living history farm, an entire crossroads town, and a forest study area.

Patricia Huffman Smith Nasa Museum 'remembering Columbia'
The Patricia Huffman Smith NASA Museum 'Remembering Columbia,' located in Hemphill, Texas, serves as a memorial to the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy and as an educational facility dedicated to creating science and technology-inspiring learning opportunities for children and adults. The 3,400-square-foot main gallery features displays documenting Space Shuttle Columbia's 28 missions, STS-107 artifacts, scale models, a flown-in-space shuttle launch suit, and a visual account of Columbia's final mission and the recovery effort that followed. Also part of the permanent collection - the accomplishments and personalities of the STS-107 crew members are illustrated through personal items and photos donated by their families. Two volunteers who lost their lives during the 2003 search and recovery effort are also memorialized in the displays. An adjoining theater provides auditorium-style seating for screenings of documentaries and special films. One of the museum's newest additions, a shuttle flight deck simulator constructed by former NASA engineers James Dean and Frank Hughes, allows visitors to take the controls and experience a virtual landing of the Space Shuttle. A gift shop also features a wide variety of souvenirs, from apparel and astronaut food, to books, DVDs and NASA patches, including the 'Hail & Farewell' Columbia patch, which is available exclusively at the museum. Throughout the year,'Friends of the Museum' sponsors education activities, community gatherings, speakers, art exhibitions, a robotics competition, golf tournament, a gala fundraiser, and a scholarship competition, among other projects.
