Soulitude is a boutique festival based in Geneva Switzerland celebrating the Soul and Jazz culture and its impact across the globe. Punctual events are organized throughout the year and a 4 day festival takes place every year in November. Soulitude has been co-founded by Djamila Geymeier and Omar Chanan. Djamila is of African-American descendance and has been immersed in this culture for her whole life. Omar has been active in this culture for more than 30 years as an artist, radio host and avid researcher.

Association Melting Pot
Festival sur un soir, mélangeant différents style de musique et de danse, le Melting Pot Festival revient avec une cinquième édition pour faire rêver un public déjà conquis par les quatre éditions précédentes. Le Melting Pot Festival a plusieurs buts: Le premier but l est de faire vivre La Côte (et la région aubonnoise en particulier), qui ne sont pas spécialement riches en ce genre d’événements. Le second but est d'encourager la culture au niveau romand, par l'intermédiaire du Tremplin Melting Pot Festival, entre autres. Enfin, le dernier objectif est de reverser une majeure partie du bénéfice à une œuvre humanitaire. En effet, en 2010, 60% du bénéfice a été versé pour la construction d'écoles et de dispensaires au Togo, et en 2011, c'est 75% du bénéfice qui a été donné à un orphelinat à Madagascar. Cette année, l'argent partira au Laos, pour une organisation active dans le domaine de la santé (construction d'une clinique mobile) et des infrastructures agricoles. En termes de chiffres, le Melting Pot Festival 2012 attira près de 800 spectateurs ce qui lui permit de maintenir son impressionnante croissance annuelle de 50%, et accueilla 10 artistes et allant de la danse à l’humour en passant par la musique, tout cela pour une soirée exceptionnelle qui restera dans les mémoires. La tête d’affiche de cette édition étaient les Rambling Wheels, accompagnés par Anach Cuan, Monophon, des danseurs du KFM Crew et des vainqueurs du Tremplin Ephyr sur la grande scène.

Idee Und Klang Audio Design
Idee und Klang Audio Design is a company based in Basel, Switzerland. Our light-flooded atelier is the center of creativity and also serves as our research workshop. We specialize in spatial audio and immersive auditive environments. This means that we create compositions and sound design (and everything in between) for exhibitions, brand facilities, expos and art installations. We believe that a thoughtful integration of any sound into its designated space is the key aspect to great sounding environments. Because every space has its distinct character. By incorporating the acoustic properties and with the aid of custom-made multichannel mixes and handpicked equipment we turn our compositions into impressive walk-in sound sculptures. We have done so for projects around the globe such as the BMW Museum in Munich, the Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the Museum of Future Government Services in Dubai and the WW1 Centenary Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum to name just a few. To optimally implement our approach, we have developed our own system called AROS. It is the result of one of our many research endeavors. Other multi-channel formats are as well part of our work, so we installed an Auro-11.1 system in our studio in 2016. We are one of the 150 leading studios of the world that are licensed to produce in the Auro-3D format. Above and beyond spatial audio we have a substantial track record in various other facets of sound production such as radio and TV sound layouts, audio design for film and theater as well as sound branding. At the recording studio, directly opposite our atelier, recordings of music and sound design on the highest technical and aesthetic levels are achieved. Fueled by a good deal of curiosity and thirst for knowledge, we're committed to learning new things every day. We regularly invite inspiring sound specialists to present their work at one of our Sounds Unlimited events.
