Tonebakers is a Finnish music production duo who offer high-quality audio and music production services. Our services are available worldwide. Our core values: Client oriented approach Sincerity Respect #yummysound #tonebakers How it all started: The history of Tonebakers goes back to 2010 when Mika mastered an EP for Karri’s band and we got to know each other. Sharing common interests in music and all things audio we quickly became close friends. Very soon we started doing recording and mixing projects together for various bands and learned a lot from each other. Our collaboration began with the name HallaFreakquency which you’ll probably stumble upon if checking out our previous works. Since then we have built our own mix room, worked on tons of music all over Finland using our mobile recording rig and also out of several third party studios. The name for our collaboration has changed but we’re still the same two close friends and still working on audio both together and separately. Tonebakers: When we were finishing building our mix room in Seinäjoki we noticed that the house’s original blueprints labeled the studio area as a bakery. Cooking up tasty tones and songs in a place originally planned to be a bakery? That’s a perfect match! Tonebakers also reflects how we relate to music and audio. To reach #yummysound level the song needs lots of love, warmth and suitable condiments. That’s the way we like to do our work.

Fueled by his own contemporary brand of dance music, Jyri Hintikka aka MK8, has been making his way in the Nordic electronic music scene. For years, he has been a central figure in bringing like-minded people together, united in love for electronic music. Savonlinnan Orkesteri

Savonlinnan Orkesteri rakentuu Savonlinna-kvartetin soittajista sekä Savonlinnan Soitannollisen Seuran harrastajasoittajista. Orkesterissa soittaa lisäksi Savonlinnan musiikki- ja tanssiopiston opettajia ja oppilaita sekä ammattilaisia. Orkesteri konsertoi noin kuusi-seitsemän kertaa vuodessa. Savonlinna-kvartetti on v. 1993 perustettu ammattijousikvartetti, joka konsertoi Andrei Nikulin I viulu, Eeva Vesamäki II viulu, Katja Inkala alttoviulu, Ilkka Vesioja sello. Savonlinna Orchestra is formed around Savonlinna-quartet and teachers and students of the Savonlinna Music Institute as well as amateur musicians. The Orchestra has six to seven concert productions a year. Savonlinna Quartet is a professional string quartet founded in 1993. It gives concerts throughout the year at the Savonlinna area and neighbouring cities and communes. Members of the quartet work as section leaders in the Savonlinna Orchestra as well as teachers at the Savonlinna Music Institute. Always ambitiously aiming for high quality, the quartet has established and long occupied a leading position in the musical life of Savonlinna. Savonlinna Quartet has premiered a number of works written and dedicated especially for it, and it's recordings of music by Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov and Väinö Raitio and Sergey Rachmaninov and Aulis Sallinen (2010) have gained nationwide attention and respect for featuring works previously unrecorded by Finnish ensembles. Savonlinna Quartet gives 50-60 performances a year, including private events and concerts of the Savonlinna Orchestra.

Versoi Ensemble

Versoi Ensemble is a collective of young American and Finnish artists transitioning from student to professional artistic life who are interested in producing chamber music projects as agents of cultural diplomacy. These projects provide intimate work environment for artists to dive into a cultural exchange, as well as joint-advocacy of human rights that are not defined by international borders. The Ensemble seeks to connect an international community of artists to local communities of listeners who have projects engaged in social justice. Through the art of nonverbal communication in chamber music, artists experience empathy and compassion that are present in all corners of the world but may be expressed differently. A chamber music setting opens channels for more intimate relationships. In exploring chamber music repertoire together, the development of a common artistic vision with colleagues is akin to a process of discourse, compromise, and agreement. We believe that we are agents of advocacy in the global arts ecosystem. As citizens, we are responsible for the well-being of our communities and neighbors. As artists, we are responsible for sharing the meaning and discoveries of our musical explorations. As musicians collaborating with each other, we are collectively responsible for bridging the two spheres.
