Warship

The Idea Warship is a Heavy Metal band from Athens, Greece. They were formed in 2003 by Captain Foris. Warship is a classic Heavy Metal band. The name of the band represents the dynamism, the will and the free spirit of man. The themes of the songs refer to freedom, human beings and Mother Earth. The History It all started back in when a group of original heavy metal fans decided to play genuine Heavy Metal music. The first band came to life shortly after. Kokkalo was their name. They released two albums and even though they performed just few times live, everyone who was there will never forget. After Kokkalo fell apart, Captain Foris moved on to the creation of Warship. Their very first demo with the title "Warship" was released in 2004. The second demo "Attack" followed towards the end of 2006. In 2010, Warship 'launched' their first official album titled "The First Wave". The album received raving reviews. Following just few months of preparation and on 12th of December 2011 Warship were ready to perform their first live at Lazy Club. Ever since the engines of Warship have ignited and they are unstoppable. They had already performed in several well-known Rock Clubs of Athens, when Warship decided it was time to compose their new album. The band have released their second official album titled "The Second Wave" on 15 February 2016. At this moment, the band has complete their new album titled "The Third Wave".
