Gri Balkon, 2013 yılının ekim ayında kurulan bağımsız müzik blogu ve radyodur. Kendi ufak dünyasını yaratan insanlara sevebileceği müzikler dinletmek, onlarla ortak hayallerde buluşmak gibi güzel şeyler varlığının temel amaçlarındandır. Bir de gökyüzü var tabii, herkesin buluştuğu yer. Sen de aslında oradasın ve ben sana bakıyorum, dalıyorum ya da tersi sen bana… Kim bilir, Gri Balkon belki de gökyüzünde bir yerdedir. Gri Balkon is an independent music blog and internet radio station, founded in October 2013. Its main purpose of existence is meeting people who created their own little world in their dreams and make them listen to good music which they could love. Moreover there is the sky where everybody meets. You are there and I am watching you, getting lost or vice versa. Who knows, Gri Balkon might be somewhere in the sky.

Rastak" means a newly born plant that grows at the bottom of the tree, in Farsi. Sometimes it grows taller and stronger than the main tree itself. So, it can be interpreted like a plant that has its roots in the ground, containing all the essential elements of life, when it is fully grown. We as Rastak band, like the “Rastak” natural process, have borrowed the background of our music from the roots of history and culture. We have been using ethnic based music with our own specific arrangement to be able to connect with a greater range of the audience from all over the world, for years. Rastak is one of the most well-known bands in Iranian contemporary folk music which formed as an experimental music group in 1997. The group seeks to collect, record, and interpret Iranian folk music for a global audience, incorporating language, culture and history merging traditional instruments and forms with contemporary rhythms. Rastak has performed in many international music festivals and concerts held in Iran, England, Austria,Germany, France, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Sweden, United States, Canada, Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Chile, Poland, Turkey, Georgia, Belgium, Oman, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh [Dhaka International Folk Fest 2017], Iraq, Erbil, United Arab Emirates, etc.
