The BNRF is a citizen-based non-profit organization in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas whose purpose is to support the preservation and protection of the country's natural resources for the benefit of all Bahamians through- Education Programs on the existence and use of various natural resources of The Bahamas- Public Engagement in its support of equitable, inclusive, and lawful ownership of profit and royalties derived from the country's natural resources to be preserved for Bahamians, and - Social Empowerment through the assurance of ethical, responsive, success-oriented governance in the affairs of our natural resources to be maintained for generations of Bahamians to come. The Foundation supports full transparency and accountability of public assets and recognizes that educated and unified voices cannot be ignored forever, and we anticipate garnering support from local and international activists who support local self-sustaining initiatives to assist in our research, developmental, and educational objectives. The Foundation supports a RIGHTS-based Economic Model through an inclusive cohesive STRUCTURAL TRANSFORMATION to achieve balanced long-term social, environmental, and economic objectives through the pillars of Policy & Legislation, Education, Sustainable Economic Projects, and Social Justice.

Founded in June 2022, Sea Strong Bahamas is a student-led, non-profit organization building a brighter, more sustainable future for The Bahamas through education, fundraising, and grassroots activism. We focus on addressing and solving many of The Bahamas’ major environmental concerns (including land and water pollution, biodiversity and wildlife endangerment, coral reef decay, and natural disaster destruction) while fostering arts and culture and advocating for sustainability and growth within local communities.
