The citizen’s association Youth Educational Forum (YEF) is a non governmental, non political and non profit organization which was established in June Several centers throughout the country operate as part of YEF, which conduct activities from the main programs of YEF: Debate, Street Law and Student’s program, as well as separate projects covering topics such as youth and education, human rights and their protection, brain drain etc. YEFs’ mission is to offer the students, high-school students, their teachers and parents, opportunities for active and argumentative participation in public discussion for issues of their individual as well as community interest. This way they can contribute towards establishment of an open and democratic society.

Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN) is a network of civil society organizations from the Balkans. Our vision BCSDN envisions the Balkan region is part of the European Union and made up of inclusive and functioning democracies which offer an enabling environment for civil society, peace, and prosperity. Our mission Protect and expand the civic space through evidence-based and collaborative policy influence on international, European, and national level. Our goals Goal 1: Advocating for the protection and expansion of civic space BCSDN aims to expose and prevent harmful legislation, support positive changes in legislation, engage in substantive dialogue with the EU, and collaborate with international actors to protect and expand the civic space. Goal 2: Securing more favourable donor practices for protection and expansion of the civic space BCSDN will conduct ongoing research, facilitate donor coordination, and provide expertise to promote transparent and inclusive donor strategies that adhere to Development Aid Effectiveness principles. These goals rely on increased stakeholder understanding, evidence-based recommendations, and strengthened civil society collaboration. To achieve the first two ambitious goals, we have set an additional goal for the development of our network: Goal 3: BCSDN strengthens its mutual learning, coordination, and collaboration for strengthened advocacy on civic space BCSDN remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing civil society development and protecting fundamental freedoms in the Balkans. We invite partners, donors, and initiatives who share our values to join us in realizing our vision for the region.

Habitat For Humanity Macedonia
The association for human housing Habitat for Humanity Macedonia is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization dedicated to providing simple, decent and affordable housing solutions for those living in poverty, regardless of their ethnic, gender and religious background. Thus, we help them exit poverty and improve the quality of their lives. We provide them with construction expertise, as well as construction materials, thus helping them have their own home after the repayment of the very favorable loan. In addition, Habitat Macedonia intensively works on providing of energy efficient housing, social integration of the most vulnerable groups, as well as providing better housing conditions for all people through the support at the level of community and the housing sector. In our aspirations to enrich and improve the lives of our partner – families and their communities, all of us joined in this mission follow four essential virtues – Dedication, Respect, Integrity and Care. Since the start of the first project in 2005, Habitat Macedonia has supported more than families in Macedonia.

The membership of the NYCM brings together a diversity of organizations coming from national and regional level, rural and urban areas, student organizations, branches of international organizations and other types of associations. In the process of accomplishing its goals, NYCM represents the interests of the young people in the Republic of Macedonia regardless of their socio-economic position, sex, race, ethnic and cultural background, political and religious beliefs, sexual orientation and gender identity or any other form of distinction.

Liberal Alternative Institute
LAI is a think-and-do tank established as a response to society’s grassroots needs for an alternative voice based on liberal activism. Founded in 2012, it provides an innovative approach to already much discussed topics in the lights of democracy, good governance and social activism. The alternative LAI offers stems from the international experience of the founding members whose ideas blend the western liberal thought with the traditional local values. This is our recipe for presenting new alternative solutions. Our activities include: Events (conferences, round tables, debates, campaigns, workshops, seminars, trainings), Research and Policy Analysis. The focus of our activities is: Human Rights, Public Policy, Historical Dialogue, Media, Euro-Atlantic Integration, Balkan Politics, Gender Issues, Youth Empowerment and Education, with a special emphasizes on parameters such as local governance and inter-ethnic relations. Our projects are driven by two main components: Inter-disciplinarity which brings together different disciplines that enhance each other in explaining an issue and providing a solution for it, and Multi-perspectivity which forms basis for unbiaseness and transparency. LAI tries to bring a multi-disciplinary approach in its research activities in order to inform better the policy-making institutions and its attempts are to concentrate in strategic thinking rather than operational details.
