Welcome to My Vision, office of Dr. Roopal G. Rammohan, a PA state fully licensed optometrist. We are a privately owned family oriented optometry practice, located in Center Valley, PA. We serve the needs of both children and adults who need eye care. We not only offer comprehensive eye exams for healthy patients looking for contacts and glasses, but also specialize in diabetic eye care, dry eye syndromes, and management of other eye diseases. We are located in the office of St. Luke’s Endocrinology Group which specializes in comprehensive diabetes programs, including pediatric and adult endocrinology, podiatry, diabetes education and weight management. We work closely with the endocrinologists to give patients a comprehensive diabetic care plan. In addition, due to our close relationship with local ophthalmologists, we are able to refer and co manage any patient with pre or post operative eye care needs including retina, cataract, glaucoma or any laser procedures. Vision Care Associates has its roots in family eye care and has developed around this idea that patients become family. Initially, in 1977 Dr. Paul Bell and his son Dr. Gordon Bell partnered their practice of Bell & Bell with Dr. James Olson to form Vision Care Center. Then in 1982, Dr. James Ruch merged with this trio to form the first Vision Care Associates. The first offices were in Aberdeen and Britton, but Mobridge was soon to follow. From there, with the philosophy of bringing exceptional healthcare to rural South Dakota, several other locations were opened around northeastern South Dakota. Vision Care Associates is now South Dakota’s largest independent network of eye care professionals with 20 locations in South Dakota and Nebraska. Founded in 2013, hH started out providing vision and hearing screenings and worked to connect children in need to follow up care providers. Recently hH launched optical Prime, a mobile eye clinic that brings vision care directly to children where they are, at school. Vision impairment is the single most prevalent disabling condition among children. One in four children has a vision problem.
