Argekultur

Die ARGEkultur ist das größte unabhängige Kulturzentrum in Salzburg. Als gemeinnützige Kultureinrichtung verortet sie sich inmitten der (Stadt-) Gesellschaft. Sie ist Ort des dialogischen Miteinanders wie der kritischen Auseinandersetzung. Die ARGEkultur ist als Veranstalterin und Produzentin von zeitgenössischer Kultur ebenso Ort für experimentelle Kunstprojekte wie für Alltags- und Popkultur. Jährlich finden bis zu 350 Veranstaltungen mit insgesamt rund Besucher*innen statt. Darüber hinaus ist die ARGEkultur Arbeitsplatz und Treffpunkt für zahlreiche Salzburger*innen – für temporäre Nutzer*innen (z.B. durch Workshops, Kursen, Seminaren oder Proben) ebenso wie für ein gutes Dutzend permanenter Initiativen und Gruppen.

Ballet Grand Prix Vienna

The Ballet Grand Prix Vienna is an international ballet and contemporary dance competition, offering young dancers from all over the world the opportunity to present themselves through the art of dance. The competition took place in 1996 (ÖTR Contest) for the first time and has ever since been a great success. Organised by the Austrian New Century Cultural Exchange Association, the mission is to promote excellence in dance, support artistic and cultural diversity, and provide more opportunities for the public to experience the best in classical and contemporary forms. Furthermore, it is our goal to inspire and educate the public about dance through the production and presentation of high-quality events and educational programs, as well as to find established dance artists from around the world and promote them in Vienna, the capital of art and culture. Not only do we offer students the experience to present themselves in the contest pool, but we also aim to provide this opportunity to professional dancers to benefit from learning the best from renowned dance artists.

Vienna Opera Academy

The Vienna Opera Academy is a 3-week Winter and Summer Opera Program held in three sessons in January, July and August in the heart of Vienna. All rehearsals and concerts take place at the famous Musikverein Concert Hall and Mozarthaus. The program offers advanced training for Opera Singers, Conductors and Repetiteurs through one-on-one coachings and group rehearsals/classes. You gain knowledge of the music industry and develop tools you need for a successful career. The program is designed to enable one-on-one interaction with our experienced and dedicated faculty. Voice and Opera faculty coordinate their efforts in order to ensure the best possible training and preparation. The Academy students have performance opportunities at the Vienna Opera Festival and our alumni are appearing in opera houses around the world.
