Haunted Calgary
Haunted Calgary is the largest walk-through haunted yard attraction in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, featuring approximately square feet! Over 500 man-power hours are dedicated by volunteers to construct the attraction each year. Another 60 or so people volunteer each night as cast and crew. Haunted Calgary offers hands-on experience for youth and adults looking to build skills in areas such as: construction, architectural design, theatre, set design, costuming, and much more. We've partnered with agencies such as Calgary Alpha House Society, Girl Guides of Canada, and the University of Calgary to provide job-training experience and resume-building opportunities as well as service projects. Most guests take approximately 20-30 minutes to explore. This is an outdoor attraction so dress warm and be prepared to wait in lines during peak hours. Wear sturdy footwear for safety. Costumes are welcome. Hours vary from year to year, but we are generally open the weekend closest to Halloween, as well as Halloween night. Please check dates and hours for the current year before you come. Generally, we are open rain, shine, or snow. Please check our Facebook page for up-to-the-minute information. We aim to be the scariest haunted attraction you'll see so parental discretion is strongly advised during full scare hours. We welcome guests of all ages, but recommend that parents preview the attraction to determine if your kids can handle it. We have young children who absolutely love it and adults who pee their pants, so it's not possible for our volunteers to decide if it's appropriate for you or your kids. There is a low scare option which has few to no actors and is held during daylight hours. While some visitors still find it too scary, it's the best time to come if you're nervous. Then, come back for the real thing if you're brave enough! Profits from the attraction are donated to our charity partners. Scare you soon!

Hercinia Arts Collective
Hercinia Arts Collective creates and curates contemporary circus and multidisciplinary performances. With a strong focus on public art and outdoor experiences we strive to create work that is playful and imaginative, blending the spectacle of circus arts with other forms to create a visceral language, make meaningful experiences, and bring people into art. Our original creations have been showcased throughout Canada and internationally at a variety of locations including street festivals, art parties, galleries, theatre spaces, corporate events and public squares. Over the years, our focus has been particularly on outdoor performances, as a means to bring our art to a broader public who might not otherwise have access to artistic performances through conventional means. Our main investigation in performance is to use circus as a language through which to explore themes, characters or to tell stories. As a practice combining spectacle with risk and beauty, circus is an exciting language because it can communicate on such a visceral level. We believe strongly in the power of that language and in sharing it with as diverse an audience as possible. In addition to booking our original creations, we are available to create custom performances and experiences or can craft a specialty workshop for your community or team. Lethbridge Symphony
We create and promote a first class orchestra producing memorable musical experiences for audiences of all ages. Founded in 1960, and incorporated as a charitable non-profit in 1961, our first half-century of music was created by local artists who played on a volunteer basis. They gave freely of their time and talents so that audiences might share with them the joys of symphonic music. A resident music director was hired in 1978, and our resident professional quartet was founded in 1982. Today, your Symphony still comes from a broad cross-section of the community. In addition to many skilled amateur players, the orchestra is composed of outstanding local professionals as well as talented students. Occasionally, a few professional players are brought in to fill positions that cannot be filled locally. This unique mix of musicians combines to form the highly successful Lethbridge Symphony. We present a dozen productions annually, including the Symphony Series featuring the full orchestra, the Intima Series featuring Musaeus String Quartet and special guest artists, as well as our four ever-popular Kids Choir events featuring elementary school choirs singing with the orchestra to celebrate the Christmas holiday, and our annual Symphony Soiree fundraising gala event.
