Sadaluhung Padjadjaran Drum Corps (SPDC) is one of the oldest marching bands in Indonesia. Founded on December 21, 1984, and inaugurated by the then Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Prof. Dr. Nugroho Notosusanto. SPDC stands for Sadaluhung Padjadjaran Drum Corps."Sadaluhung" comes from the Sundanese ethnic language, which means "the great sound","Padjadjaran" because SPDC is located in Padjadjaran University, and "Drum Corps" is SPDC's style in marching band.

Teater Pagupon adalah salah satu biro Ikatan Keluarga Sastra Indonesia (IKSI) FIB UI. Atas dasar kebutuhan mahasiswa akan wadah untuk menampung ekspresi kesenian, khususnya seni pertunjukkan, dan mengaplikasikan ilmu sastra, khususnya drama, pada Desember 1984 di Fakultas Sastra Universitas Indonesia, Rawamangun, Teater Pagupon lahir. Nama Pagupon sendiri diambil dari bahasa Jawa yang artinya 'rumah burung dara'. Seiring perkembangannya, rumah burung dara pun tidak hanya dihuni oleh mahasiswa jurusan Sastra Indonesia, tetapi juga mahasiswa dari jurusan lain, fakultas lain, bahkan universitas lain.
