The diversity of cultural proposals featured in the festival attracts cultural consumers, professionals, public opinion leaders, families and a loyal audience that has been walking with the festival for decades, flocking to the shows from all over Israel. The festival also has close ties with social organizations, community ngo’s, universities and art schools throughout Israel. We consider it our responsibility to use the platform given to us to promote social awareness and educational, community, and environmental values. Special attention is given to making the festival accessible to a wide range of audiences by subsidizing tickets for disadvantaged populations, people with special needs, the elderly, soldiers, students and more. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Foundation, embassies and businesses, and is a member of the European Festivals Association (EFA) and the Silk Road Festivals Association.

Na Laga'at Center - מרכז נא לגעת

The Na Laga’at Center ("Please Touch" in Hebrew) is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind cultural center that provides an equal stage for meeting between deaf, blind and those that are both deaf and blind and the wide public. Since its establishment in 2007, the Center has been home to Na Laga’at Theater – the only theater in the world whose actors are deaf, blind and deaf-blind individuals; BlackOut Restaurant – Israel's only dark restaurant, offering full gourmet meals in complete darkness, served by waiters who are either blind or vision impaired; Kapish Events - where guests communicate in sign language with waiters who are either deaf or hearing impaired; the Workshop Center - offering a range of workshops in either darkness or full light, led by deaf, blind and deafblind instructors and the School of Performing Arts - Drama school for the deaf and the blind. The Na Laga’at Center is a nonprofit organization, channeling all its resources toward preserving its uniqueness as a cultural center, enhancing its social message, and serving as a leading place of employment for deaf, blind, and deaf-blind individuals. Since its inception, the Center has welcomed more than a million visitors. Thanks to its unique activities, the Center has won a range of prestigious cultural and social awards, including the Genesis Prize, courtesy of violinist Itzhak Perlman, and an award for generating social impact from the global Fair Saturday Movement.

מיקרוסינמה הוא מיזם שנולד מאהבה לקולנוע. לכל אחד מאיתנו יש לפחות סרט אחד שאותו הוא מבקש לנצור בלבו. סרט שהיה לו מפלט בידורי בדיוק ברגע המתאים או סרט שגיבוריו מהווים מודל חיקוי עבורו. סרט יכול לעורר בצופה השראה, לטעת בלבו תקווה, להעצים אותו ולפתוח לפניו אופקים חדשים. לסרט יש כוח לחבר בין אנשים, לפתוח שיח מרתק ולהניע קהילה לשינוי. לכן אנו מאמינים כי בית קולנוע הוא לא רק מקום להקרנת סרטים. בישראל שכונות מרובות תושבים, שאין בהן מקום המיועד לצפייה בסרטים, ויישובים רבים, שאין בהם ולו בית קולנוע אחד. אנחנו שואפים להביא את מיקרוסינמה אל כל המקומות האלה ולהקים עם התושבים שחיים שם,"סינמה פרדיסו" שלהם. מטרת המיזם היא לייצר מפגשים באווירה מיוחדת שתספק לצופים רגעים של בילוי ושל הנאה לצד עניין, דיאלוג בין אישי ומעורבות חברתית.

סדרת הרצאות על הודו דרך חווית הריקוד הרצאה מרתקת, חוג בית, ערב תרבות, הרצאות לגיל השלישי, גמלאים מפגש אינטראקטיבי מרתק של חוויית הריקוד ההודי. הרצאה ומופע, אידיאלי למפגשי קבוצות עניין, חוגי בית, מועדוני תרבות, קתדרה, גמלאים. הריקוד ההודי הקלאסי טומן בחובו עולם ומלואו. חבל הטבור של הריקוד ההודי הוא במקדשים העתיקים של תת-היבשת. נושאי הריקוד הם בעיקר על סיפורים ודמויות ומסרים מן המיתולוגיה ההודית וההינדואיזם. הריקוד בהודו הינו חלק בלתי נפרד מהתרבות היומיומית ובכלל. ניתן לבחור בנושאים מגוונים לחווית הודו דרך הריקוד (בכולן כלול ריקוד ושיתוף קהל):"לרקוד את החלום"- סיפורה של רקדנית ויוצרת ישראלית שהיום היא שגרירת הריקוד והתרבות ההודית בישראל. מסע להודו בעקבות הסיפור של מסע אישי בהודו ואיך הפכתי מ"הילדה של השורה השלישית" בהופעות המתנ"ס ועד למעמד הופעה באירוע קבלת הפנים של ראש ממשלת הודו."דרום הודו- תרבות ונופים"- הרצאה שמתמקדת בדרום הודו והייחודיות שלה: האמנויות, האתרים היפים, מדינת קרלה וכמובן ריקוד דרום הודי מרתק."מהמקדש אל הבמה"- ההסטוריה של הריקוד ההודי מהיותו ריקוד תפילה במקדשי הודו העתיקים ועד הריקוד ההודי כפי שחווים אותו היום בסרטים, במופעים ועל הבמות. מסע מרתק דרך סודות של סיתות אנבי המקדשים, הריקוד בחיי הקהילה ובסרטים ההודים."הצבעים של הודו"-בדגש על הצבעוניות וסמליות הצבעים בהודו (מתאים מאד לפורים). בהודו מרגישים את עוצמות הצבע. בלבוש, באוכל, באבקות הצבעוניות שסביבן יש פסטיבל גדול. מסע צבעוני בהודו."אור ואש"- על פולחן האש בהודו (מארים לחנוכה). משמעויות האש מפולחנים דתיים ועד ליומיום בהודו. אגדות סביב האש. מתאים כפעילות תוכן וחוויה עם הדלקת נרות,מותאם לפי הקבוצה: הגיל השלישי, חברות עובדים או קהילת משפחות."סודות מאחורי הסארי" – הצצה למעמד האשה בהודו, מדמות האלה הנערצת ועד לקשיי היומיום. על הרגשות הגלויים והחבויים. סיפורים על נשים הודיות מעוררות השראה ועוד. ניתן לשלב גם פעילות של הרקדה משחררת לקבוצות נשים. ניתן גם להתאים נושא לפי בקשה ולפי סוג קהל.
