Columbus Symphony
Since 1951, the Columbus Symphony (CSO) has been proud to serve as central Ohio’s flagship music performance organization. The CSO’s musicians, conductors, chorus, and world-renowned guest artists enrich the central Ohio community through extraordinary talent, passion, dedication, and the highest standards of musicianship. Living and working in the community, CSO musicians are interwoven throughout the region’s cultural fabric, accompanying performances by other companies, performing in other local orchestras, and teaching and coaching young musicians. Guided by the artistic vision of Music Director Rossen Milanov, the CSO offers four programming areas – Masterworks, Pops, Picnic with the Pops, and Education/Community Engagement – that are targeted to appeal to diverse audiences from throughout central Ohio. This segmented approach, innovative within the American orchestra industry, is helping the CSO to reach new, younger, and more diverse audiences. The CSO's mission of inspiring and building a strong community through music is integral to the community, and plays a central role in Columbus’ vibrant arts scene. Our concerts and programs served over central Ohioans in 2019-2020, and the CSO generated over $15 million in economic income for Columbus. Our programming includes classical masterworks, new works by living composers, performances by popular artists from a variety of genres, education programs that enrich and promote children’s learning and development, and community engagement programming designed to make the CSO accessible to all.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC), best known for its annual free performances on Boston Common, is a non-profit theater company founded in 1996, dedicated to artistic excellence, accessibility, and education. Coral Springs Center For The Arts
In the center of the burgeoning South Florida cultural community lies the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, offering a variety of entertainment and artistic events for all ages and interests. From the best of Broadway, to top comedians, jazz and pop concerts, the Gold Coast Opera, the Sy Sugar Pops Symphony Orchestra, and a diverse selection of family productions. The Center is the cultural lifeblood of the community, with approximately people visiting the facility yearly. In addition to the theatre, the Center houses a dramatic dance studio, a variety of meeting rooms for corporate and private events, and the elegant Coral Springs Museum of Art. Originally designed to serve the local community as both a municipal auditorium and a gymnasium, the Coral Springs Center for the Arts opened in 1990. In January of 1996, construction began on a four million dollar renovation, transforming it into a first class performing and visual arts venue by the architectural firm, Zeidler Roberts Partnership. Known for their design of the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, they created an intimate 1471 seat theatre with a fully enclosed balcony to envelope the audience chamber producing a kinship between the stage and seating areas. The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is truly unique in all that it offers as a cultural Mecca for North Broward and South Palm Beach Counties. Easily accessible from the Sample Road exits off I-95, the Florida Turnpike and the Sawgrass Expressway, the Center draws audiences preferring an intimate theatre experience and museum visit closer to home.

Coterie Theatre

The Joffrey Ballet School is the only ballet school in New York City that offers a well-rounded dance curriculum that includes serious training in both classical ballet (technique, pointe, variations, adagio, men’s classes) and contemporary ballet (technique, improvisation, partnering), as well as modern, character, choreography, dance history, music, pilates and yoga. Special workshops are taught by guest faculty to augment the curriculum. All dance classes have live piano accompaniment, and live cello and percussion accompaniment is used in some contemporary and modern classes.

Created by legendary conductor Roger Wagner in 1964, the Chorale is a founding resident company of The Music Center and choir-in-residence at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Chorister positions are highly sought after, and the fully professional choir is a diverse and vocally dynamic group. The Chorale reaches over people a year through its concert series at Walt Disney Concert Hall, its international touring of innovative works, and its performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and others. Committed to increasing representation in the choral repertoire, the Chorale announced in 2020 that it will reserve at least 50% of each future season for works by composers from historically excluded groups. This commitment to inclusion runs through the entire organization, which recently ratified a five-year plan that commits to improving representation at the staff and board levels, continuing to build a more diverse roster of singers, and reaching a wider audience.

Miami City Ballet
Miami City Ballet is an American ballet company based in Miami Beach, Florida, and led by artistic director Gonzalo Garcia. MCB was founded in 1985 by Miami philanthropist Toby Lerner Ansin with former New York City Ballet principal dancer Edward Villella as founding artistic director. The company flourishes today as one of the world's most respected ballet companies. MCB features an international ensemble of 50 dancers hailing from the United States, Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela, China, Switzerland, France, Japan, and Germany. The company has an active repertoire of 88 ballets and performs over 100 times annually including a home season in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, FL. North American appearances include the Kennedy Center, the 1996 Olympic Arts Festival, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, the Orange County Performing Arts Center, and New York City Center; while theaters and festivals in Europe, Central America, South America, and Israel have hosted the company. Among the Company’s notable achievements have been critically-acclaimed performances in Paris and New York City, and the nationally televised PBS special Great Performances. The company operates an elite ballet training academy, the Miami City Ballet School. Approximately 375 students attend the academy during the school year, with 200 accepted to the annual Summer Intensive. In 2012, Lourdes Lopez was chosen as artistic director. Lopez was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Miami. She was a principal dancer for New York City Ballet for 24 years under George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins. After retiring from the stage, she went on to become the executive director of The George Balanchine Foundation and co-founded the innovative dance company Morphoses. Mission Cultural Center For Latino Arts
The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA) was established in 1977 by artists and community activists with a shared vision to promote, preserve and develop the Latino cultural arts that reflect the living tradition and experiences of the Chicano, Central and South American, and Caribbean people. MCCLA makes the arts accessible as an essential element to the community's development and well-being. MCCLA’S main objectives to present the best representative sample of contemporary and ancient artistic traditions of Latin America and to develop in the community a high degree of sensitivity and understanding of Latin American culture. To this end, throughout its 40+ year history the MCCLA has sponsored a series of local, national, and international activities and programs that helped establish it as the largest Latino cultural center in the continental United States. Many of the original projects and programs have been replicated in other parts of the United States. The history of MCCLA is directly linked to a concept that embodies the pre-Cortezan belief that culture is not something that is static but rather is linked to an ever –changing future that is reflected by contemporary actions and activities. This has been the path that MCCLA has followed for the last 40 years.
