Located in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville, Walton Arts Center (WAC) is Arkansas’ largest and busiest arts presenter. WAC opens its doors to thousands of patrons annually to experience Broadway national tours, self-produced arts programming and festivals, free classroom series performances and more. A beacon of the community, Walton Arts Center has grown significantly over the last quarter of a century and now operates three facilities – the original Walton Arts Center, the neighboring Nadine Baum Studios and the Walmart AMP ( Arkansas Music Pavilion, AMP) in Rogers. Washington Concert Opera
Washington Concert Opera is a professional concert opera company offering internationally acclaimed singers, professional orchestra and chorus in concert versions of rarely heard, full-length operatic works. Founded in 1986, WCO has presented more than 40 operas, featuring world-class singers who regularly appear on the most renowned opera house stages. WCO strives to provide audiences with a unique musical experience and has repeatedly and consistently been acclaimed in the local, national, and international press as one of the finest in the field. Washington Concert Opera’s slogan sums up what a concert opera performance is about…”it’s all about the music.” A concert opera is a complete, full-length opera presented with the soloists, orchestra, chorus and conductor on stage. There are no sets, costumes or (usually) props to distract the eye….and ear….from the operatic score. The focus is entirely on the performers and their dynamic interaction with their audience. There is nothing to upstage the music and dramatic interpretations at hand. It is truly all about the music.

In November 2003, the City of White Plains fulfilled a 20 year dream with the opening of a 410-seat, state-of-the-art, professional Equity theatre located on the third floor of the City Center building in downtown White Plains. An integral part of the revitalization and renaissance of downtown White Plains, White Plains Performing Arts Center was built to provide the community access to a full array of performing arts programs and activities year-round. WHAT WE DO Through a combination of self-produced, professional theatrical productions as well as presentation of nationally and internationally known performing artists and companies in the disciplines of theatre, dance, music, stand-up comedy and children’s programming; WPPAC provides residents of White Plains and the surrounding communities an easily accessible, intimate and comfortable setting to see LIVE entertainment in the heart of Westchester County. The theater also provides a professional space for rentals to local arts and educational organizations, special interest groups and businesses to present their own performances and host meetings for a reasonable rate with the assistance of a professional staff. These organizations not only secure a professional venue for their event but also provide a diverse roster of artists and opportunities for many culturally specific communities. Vibrant programming has served to establish The Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for The Performing Arts (The Soraya) as the intellectual and cultural heart of the San Fernando Valley and its 1.8 million residents — and as one of the top arts and culture venues in Southern California. Located on the vibrant campus of California State University Northridge (CSUN), The Soraya is an award-winning, 1,700-seat theatre designed and built by HGA Architects and Engineers. The building opened in Jan. 2011 as the "Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC)". Through a transformative gift by Younes and Soraya Nazarian, the venue was renamed in 2017.
