Imagination Dance Crew
ImagiNation Dance Crew is a student-run dance group from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Our goal is to bring people who love to dance together while spreading our joy, our passion, and our love for dance. We strive to become a positive contributor to our UIUC dance community, and even represent our passions outside of our campus. We originated as Imaginasian Dance Crew under CSSA. In 2016 we rebranded and became our own registered student organization as ImagiNation Dance Crew. In 2018, we hosted the first UIUC Dance Showcase that has now become a semesterly event that celebrates and gathers the dance community on campus.

Indiana University Auditorium
Indiana University Auditorium is one of the premier cultural centers of the Midwest. The Auditorium is the primary gathering place for community ceremonies, lectures, and a wide range of performing arts and world-class touring entertainment. Important figures in government, science, and the arts speak at the Auditorium, and many great artists, entertainers, and musicians are presented in its opulent 3,200-seat theatre. The Auditorium also houses the Dailey Family Memorial Collection of Hoosier Art, the IU Auditorium Organ, and the Thomas Hart Benton murals. When the facility first opened in 1941, it was managed by a group of volunteers. Today, IU Auditorium operates with the assistance of 20 full-time employees, over 200 part-time employees, and over 300 student volunteers.

Indy Shakes is proud to offer these performances to the Indianapolis community for FREE! Our company was founded in this collaborative spirit in 2006 by a group of Indianapolis actors who created the Heartland Actors’ Repertory Theatre, a company which initially began by producing contemporary work and brand new plays. Over the years, the free Shakespeare productions became the galvanizing focus of the company. Indianapolis Shakespeare Company has been rooted in the Indianapolis community for a decade and will continue to serve the great city of Indianapolis for years to come.

Irish Repertory Theatre
Irish Repertory Theatre provides a context for understanding the contemporary Irish-American experience through evocative works of theater, music, and dance. This mission is accomplished by staging the works of Irish and Irish-American classic and contemporary playwrights, encouraging the development of new works focused on the Irish and Irish-American experience, and producing the works of other cultures interpreted through the lens of an Irish sensibility. Founded by Ciarán O’Reilly and Charlotte Moore, The Irish Repertory Theatre opened its doors in September 1988 with Sean O’Casey’s THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS. In 1995, the theater made its permanent home in Chelsea on three completely renovated floors of a former warehouse, allowing for both a Main Stage theater and a smaller studio space, the W. Scott McLucas Studio. The Irish Repertory Theatre is currently the only year-round theater company in New York City devoted exclusively to bringing Irish and Irish-American works to the stage.

Jacksonville Symphony
The Jacksonville Symphony is one of Northeast Florida’s most important cultural institutions. Founded in 1949, the Symphony now enjoys a national reputation, regularly heard on more than 250 public radio stations across the country on Performance Today. Combined with performances aired on Jacksonville’s public radio station WJCT and the organization’s continually growing streaming program, the Symphony reaches over individuals through these digital channels. In 2018, the orchestra was selected as one of four orchestras from across the country to participate in the 2020 SHIFT: A Festival of American Orchestras in Washington, D.C.* The Symphony’s performance home, Robert E. Jacoby Symphony Hall, is an acoustic gem and offers an intimate and acoustically superior concert experience. Each year thousands enjoy the Symphony’s performances both at Jacoby Symphony Hall in the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts and at venues located throughout the state of Florida.

Kentucky Shakespeare Festival
We use the works of Shakespeare to enrich our community through accessible, professional, theatre experiences that educate, inspire, and entertain people of all ages. We believe that art is for everyone, not just for those who can afford the price of a ticket; and that Shakespeare's works are a great learning lesson of the human condition. As the official state Shakespeare festival, Kentucky Shakespeare offers FREE performances in June & July in historic Old Louisville's Central Park. The C. Douglas Ramey Amphitheatre seats over audience members and is completely wheelchair accessible. Central Park is located at the corner of 4th & Magnolia in Louisville, KY. The Festival also has extensive education outreach programs, including summer camps for 5-18 year olds, a prison program at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham County,KY, professional development programs for teachers and K-12 education outreach programs that have reached all 120 counties in Kentucky as well as surrounding states. Kentucky Shakespeare Festival is the oldest free, professional, independently-operating Shakespeare Festival in North America.

Kirkland Performance Center
Centrally located in the heart of Kirkland, Kirkland Performance Center is the ideal venue for a truly memorable experience. Our 394 seat theatre is spacious, yet retains an intimate feel. The farthest seat is just 13 rows – 40 feet – from the stage; the steep rake of the house provides excellent sightlines throughout the theater. The seats are ample with extra leg room for comfortable seating. The acoustics in the theater are designed to work equally well for both music and the spoken word. In September 2023, we launched a new recording studio and community education programming facility, KPC Studios, which hosts all-ages performing arts and technology classes, a community choir, and small group performances.

High Expectations and Hard Work It is important we challenge our dancers to improve weekly so they achieve a higher level of training. Professional Teaching Qualified teachers pay close attention to each child's artistic development, health, and safety. Staff is active in continuing education. Performance Dance is a performing art. It builds confidence and a sense of accomplishment in each student. Our annual Spring Recital involves all students.
