Pan American Symphony Orchestra
The Pan American Symphony Orchestra (PASO) was founded 25 years ago by dynamic Argentine conductor and musician, Sergio Alessandro Buslje, with the objective of bringing Latin American symphonic music to Washington, DC area concert halls. Maestro Buslje had studied and performed standard classical music for many years but noticed a gap in the area’s cultural offerings—Latin American culture was not being fully represented in area performances, and our Latin American neighbors to the South possess a treasure trove of symphonic works by talented composers that begged to be showcased. Now more than 30 years later, PASO continues to provide quality performances of music originating from Latin America with an on-going concert series that showcases gifted Latin American musicians and soloists. With critical acclaim from the press and a loyal following from the public, PASO remains on the cutting edge of symphonic performances with newly commissioned works, such as Danzon no. 7, by eminent contemporary Mexican composer, Arturo Marquez, and rarely performed works by composers from Argentina, Honduras, Mexico, Ecuador, Cuba, and Brazil. The orchestra has dedicated a season to Latin American woman composers and was the first orchestra in the Washington, DC area to perform the unusual, but beautifully melodic, tango-opera Maria de Buenos Aires, by Astor Piazzolla. PASO performed for 2013 Latino Inaugural Celebration to celebrate President Obama's second electoral victory. Hosted by Eva Longoria, the celebration featured Rita Moreno, Jose Feliciano, Prince Royce, opera sensation Juan Diego Florez, Broadway and TV star, Luis Esparza, among others- all accompanied by PASO. The only symphonic tango orchestra in the United States, PASO draws audiences from across the U.S. for its annual DC tango festival and its big symphonic tango shows. The best tango dancers and soloists from Buenos Aires to New York City have joined PASO for these standing-room only performances.

Performing Arts Collective Of Tallahassee
Since our incorporation in 2018, the Performing Arts Collective of Tallahassee (PACT), previously the Tallahassee Live Music Community Charity Group, has been enriching the lives of at-risk youth through performing arts programming and education. PACT's mission and vision were created through the founders’ recognition of the transformative power that music and the arts had on their respective lives and upbringings. This led to a desire to extend likewise opportunities for music exposure and education to at-risk youth in Leon County, eventually extending these services to the greater Big Bend region. While our mission was initially focused on music education, we have since broadened our scope to include other art disciplines in our current and future programming. We currently offer free lessons in dance, guitar, piano, and live music production for students who qualify. In addition to the programming we offer, we also provide free instruments and practice workbooks to students in our programs. We host music and performing arts shows spanning multiple genres with full in-house production including lighting, sound, videographers, photographers, and sound technicians. Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale
Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Chorale’s mission is to present audiences throughout the world with historically-informed performances of music from the Baroque, Classical, and Early Romantic periods, as well as new music, using period instruments and vocal techniques that capture the style, spirit, and distinctive sound of that time. We share our music through live performances and recordings, and actively reach new audiences through our educational offerings and training programs for the next generation of musicians. Philharmonia’s pursuit of its mission is based upon three fundamental convictions: 1. Great music is universal. It is a timeless medium that impacts quality of life on an emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual level. Period-instrument performance, executed at the highest level, creates a distinct sound and singular listening experience. Historically-informed performance means more than playing music in the style in which it was written; it also means performing music with a passion, joy, and vitality that provide a meaningful contemporary artistic experience for today’s audience. In addition, this experience enriches appreciation of history and provides a valuable perspective in preserving and understanding the orchestral tradition. The opportunity for audiences today to hear great works and authentic instruments from the past is, in itself, a legacy that must be preserved for the benefit of future generations.
