Osaat Africa Health Foundation
One Step At A Time (OSAAT) Africa was birthed in the year 2019. Focused on health outreach, free medical advice, sexual and reproductive health and women's health, with over 100 volunteers and a reach of thousands across the African continent, the goal is to ensure quality standardised healthcare for all irrespective of socioeconomic status. We firmly believe that health ought to be the priority of every nation, with the understanding that no other sector can function if its people are not healthy and fit. Our volunteers are day to day people such as lawyers, managers, executives, CEOs, teachers, engineers, stay at home mums and dads, secretaries etc. who simply wish to see etter healthcare afforded to all. we teach these volunteers how to take a blood pressure reading, check glucose, check HB, do wound dressing and other basic health tasks. We believe that healthcare is not just the responsibility of the doctor and nurse, but that community members ought to take up their role in ensuring community health.
