ChemCentre is the Western Australian Government statutory authority that provides expert analytical and scientific information to government, industry and the community. It exists to provide essential chemical and forensic services to ensure a safe and prosperous Western Australian community. ChemCentre was established by the Western Australian Government in the 1890s and has grown and evolved over the past 120 years to achieve recognition as a leader in analytical chemistry and forensic science. We provide routine analytical services, as well as specialised method development and unique analyses for less common chemicals of interest. Our scientists provide clients with high-quality analyses, legally defensible data and where required, expert interpretation and legal testimony. As the Western Australian Government analytical laboratory, with responsibilities in emergency response, forensic science and public and environmental health, we maintain a core of world-class expertise and equipment at our headquarters in Bentley, Western Australia. The same expertise and equipment is used to service our industry clients, not only in Western Australia, but also nationally and in Asia, Europe and the United States. Our laboratories are accredited and compliant with all National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) requirements for Chemical Testing and Forensic Science. Consequently, we comply fully with all relevant clauses of ISO/IEC 17025 and meet the principles of ISO 9001. Lowitja Institute
Australia’s only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health research institute. It is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation, named in honour of its patron, Dr Lowitja O'Donoghue. The Institute was established in 2010, emerging from a 14-year history of Cooperative Research Centres in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research. Since 1997, the Lowitja Institute and its predecessor CRC organisations, have led a substantial reform agenda in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research by working with communities, researchers and policymakers, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people setting the agenda and driving the outcomes. At present, we work in partnership with 22 participants around Australia, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations, State and Australian government departments, and academic research institutions. Together, we aim to achieve demonstrable impact in better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through research, capacity building, workforce development, knowledge exchange and research translation.

Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Limited (MASC Trials) is Australia and New Zealand’s collaborative clinical trials group committed to improving melanoma and skin cancer outcomes. Working with leading researchers, MASC Trials conducts multicentre, national and international clinical trials at more than 110 institutions in Australia and overseas. Our diverse and growing portfolio includes research in the prevention, early detection and treatment of melanoma and skin cancer, including early to late phase clinical trials. Our 2,250+ members throughout Australia and around the world represent the many disciplines critical to our work and strengthen the success of our clinical trials. Together, we work to reduce the burden of melanoma and skin cancer on the healthcare system. From early engagement with consumers and researchers to develop research ideas, through to the publication of results, we work cooperatively to provide a range of clinical trial services. We value the experiences of consumers and our collaborative approach ensures their unique perspectives are considered in clinical trial prioritisation and development. MASC Trials continues to be supported by the Australian Government via Cancer Australia, Monash University and the generosity of our corporate partners and donors. The high-quality evidence published from our trials changes clinical practice to impact the lives of patients and improve how doctors prevent, diagnose and treat melanoma and skin cancer.
