The pond-based experimental facility opened in 2025, The future-plan for Aqualab includes a RAS based raceway nursery system for freshwater prawn and fishes and a disease challenge laboratory. The poultry research facility includes semi-EC broiler and layer facilities including a metabolic lab with 18 metabolic cages for AME studies expandable to 54. A disease challenge facility will be in operation from 2026.
