Molecular Biology And Immunology Student Association Mimsa
The Molecular Biology and Immunology Students Association (MIMSA) founded in 2017, aims to foster student involvement beyond the classroom, and connect UTSC students with peers and faculty both at UTSC and UTSG (University of Toronto St George). Our goal is to provide keen and curious minds a platform to engage in scientific discussions while also building upon skills on how to effectively read scientific discourse, extrapolate and translate key information, make scientific concepts relevant to life beyond in-class learning, and effectively communicate scientific knowledge to others. Through MIMSA, we hope students will build their professional and personal development by engaging in undergraduate research seminars, faculty keynote lectures, educational events and more. We want to engage students in open discussions regarding topics in molecular biology and immunology. While our main focus will be to provide students the skills and opportunities to utilize them with respect to scientific research and analysis, there will also be some focus on sharing upcoming opportunities with students (e.g. conferences, seminars, scholarships, research positions).

Observational Science
Observational Science is a statistical consultancy deeply committed to helping people and companies understand and communicate data. We want to conduct the “best” quantitative analyses, and believe there is more to quantitative analysis than just “crunching numbers” and generating graphs. In many cases quantitative analysis fails to promote or even hinders innovation even if it’s the “correct analysis”. We believe that the best quantitative analyses: challenge assumptions, change established ways of doing things; and completely integrate all salient qualitative issues. In mediocre quantitative analyses people start to convince themselves, and others, that the problem has been “solved”, and base decisions on fabrications instead of information culled from data and other sources.

Openmind Research Institute
We believe the greatest advancements in artificial intelligence are yet to come. Basic research is needed to understand what is scientifically possible before pursuing the next generation of commercial and technological deployments. We view minds as computational entities capable of purposive adaptive behaviour in open, unknown, and uncertain worlds. Understanding how such minds arise is at the heart of AI, and many fundamental questions remain unanswered. Our goal is to conduct basic AI research leading to a better understanding of minds, and to openly share that understanding with the world so humanity gains a better understanding of itself.

Queen's Law Journal
The Queen's Law Journal (“QLJ”) is one of Canada's most highly respected law journals and has a well-established international readership. The QLJ is a fully refereed scholarly publication produced by a student editorial board, composed of 12 senior editors, 11 associate editors and 40 volunteer editors, under the direction of Faculty Advisors. The QLJ was established in 1968 as the Queen's Intramural Law Journal. The purpose of this periodical was to publish a selection of the best work written by law students at Queen's. In 1971, the title was changed to the Queen's Law Journal, reflecting a change in editorial policy. While it continued to publish student work, the QLJ began seeking contributions from academics and other members of the legal profession. By the mid-1970s, the QLJ had evolved into its present form—a vehicle for scholarship by legal academics, practitioners, and law students. Presently, the QLJ is a fully refereed publication. All submissions that pass the internal review process administered by the Submissions Committee are subject to a double-blind external review by at least two experts in the relevant subject area.
