Theuth Linguistic Engines

World Biodiversity Association
WORLD BIODIVERSITY ASSOCIATION is a non-profit Association founded in 2004 by a group of naturalists with the main objective to give a contribution to discovering and saving biodiversity in Italy and all over the world. WBA has a Scientific Committee formed by scientists, botanists and zoologists from several research institutes. WBA was founded because today we know only a little part of the fauna and flora species living in the earth; we know of two million species, but naturalists estimate the total number is at least ten million, three quarters of them living in the tropical rainforest. Naturalists estimate that the distruction of the rain forest at the actual rate square kilometres every year) is the cause of the extinction of tens of thousands of species annually. The Association has the aim of censusing biodiversity, through naturalistic expeditions to the areas where it is higher, and conserving biodiversity through a capillary educational activity, aimed in particular to the younger generation: teaching diversity, tolerance, the right to life for all organisms, and the respect of the natural balance. If you share our principles and ideals, contact us!

Center For Advanced Studies - Eurac Research
Global thinking and local action have taken on a new meaning. How do we want to and how can we live and work in the future? At the Center for Advanced Studies, we use an interdisciplinary approach to analyze social, economic and political processes and look ahead to their impacts on the future. Our team combines expertise from political science, sociology, economics, socio-economics and philosophy. It consists of both specialists and generalists working closely together to inform and provide food for thought - in critical exchange and with different scientific methods. How can we make global and local value chains sustainable? How can we counteract climate change? Can we use the Corona crisis to prepare ourselves for coming crises? How can our society become multi-resilient and able to master different challenges with confidence? We keep an eye on world events and highlight their impacts at the local level. We use our expertise and international networks to anticipate developments - such as for the future scenarios for a sustainable South Tyrol 2030+, which show possible paths to sustainable development for the province. Research and innovation are the driving forces in our search for new responsible and climate-friendly economic models, socio-ecological transformation, cohesion in our society and the ongoing fight against inequalities.
