Colors and patterns began to make inroads into Swedish homes – and she saw opportunity. Why not bring together the best of both of her worlds? Why not fuse traditional Portuguese ceramic craftsmanship, Swedish design and contemporary fashion trends into quality products that celebrate the love of life? With confident resolve, Teresa set off on a never-ending journey called Mateus. Drawing on the old and the new. Blending southern European artisanry with northern styles. Constantly reinventing colors, shapes and patterns to maximize appeal and, ultimately, to celebrate the joy of being together. Teresa and Filippa Mateus Lundahl are the creative forces behind the Mateus brand. This dynamic mother-daughter duo embraces life with gusto. The Mateus brand was born in 1993 when model-turned-mom Teresa Lundahl decided to fuse her own fashion sense with traditional Portuguese craftsmanship and contemporary Swedish design. Daughter and designer Filippa joined the company in 2014, brimming with energy and ideas for what has always been a part of her life.

Vi skapade ett nytt koncept 2009 som växer för varje år och det är med stor glädje vi brottas med konceptets utmaningar. Vi vill ju att kunden ska ha fria val när det gäller mått + kulör och vår vision var att allt detta skulle ske på nätet. Produktionen ville vi ha i svenska fabriker. Denna kombination är vi unika med och den uppskattas av våra kunder. Man kan säga att vi har lyckats men vi ser det mer som en start på en större vision – Att göra det enklare för våra kunder att förverkliga sina inredningsdrömmar. Vad gör vi? Vi tillhanda håller måttanpassade luckor, lådor, dörrar, passbitar, socklar och täcksidor till IKEAs följande PAX, METOD och FAKTUM serier. Har man ett befintligt kök så kan man byta ut endast luckor, men man kan likväl använda oss från grunden i sin planering för renovering! Vi älskar utmaningar och hittar innovativa lösningar där standarden behöver flätas samman med en kreativ lösning. Vi erbjuder även vaskar, blandare, handtag, knoppar, möbelben, vitvaror och måttanpassade bänkskivor i allt från Natursten, Keramik och Rostfritt etc.

Poster Store is a dynamically developing company, founded in 2016 in Stockholm by two brothers - Tobias and Oskar Renlund. Inspired by the Scandinavian design language we are driven by the idea that art should be available to everyone and the most beautiful things don't need to be expensive. Our posters are created both by local designers and in cooperation with well-known artists from all over the world. Thus, our customers can directly deal with the real works of art. This combination has led to our successful expansion to 28 countries in Europe so far, as well as to the USA & Canada - and this number is still growing. Already two years ago Poster Store was honored to become top 300 out of fastest developing companies in Europe. In 2019 we grew another 400 percent and created revenue of 91 million SEK (in comparison to 17 million SEK year 2018). We believe that 2020 also belongs to us. Poster Store is still growing at a rapid pace aiming to reach a revenue of 500 millions SEK this year. Right now we are proud to employ around 90 people from all over the world which means we have hired around 60 co-workers over the last 12 months. Great people are the secret which stands behind our success. We focus on building strong and motivated teams and we are sure that without this support and our fantastic employees we wouldn’t have made it this far. And if you have wondered - we do not only care about people. Poster Store does its best to be polite to the environment. We run an extensive environmental initiative aimed at minimizing our carbon footprint and strive to go as far as to have a positive environmental impact. Some key parts of this is working with a local Swan Label certified printing place for all our prints, sorting our trash, minimizing transport of everything we buy and use paper from the Swedish paper mill Lessebo Paper. The paper come from forests where, for every tree felled; at least two new trees are planted.
