The Premier University Chittagong Robotics Club (PUC Robotics Club) is a student run group of highly motivated undergraduate students from the Premier University, Chittagong. The group, with majors in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering shares a common passion for the field of robotics. The team’s purpose is to explore exciting new technology, learn critical skills, and promote the field of robotics through entering a variety of competitions. Unlike many other student teams, the Robotics Team is not formed around any one particular contest. Rather, the team prefers to continually evolve through finding exciting new opportunities for challenge.

Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) BongoMarine is a visionary and collaborative team that strives to develop underwater robotics and technology. Our mission is to unlock the potential of autonomous systems in marine environments by pushing the boundaries of ocean exploration. Composed of IUB students who share a passion for AUV (Automated Underwater Vehicles) technology, our team collaborates to generate innovative ideas, develop advanced technologies, and lead the charge in marine innovation. BongoMarine consists of four specialized sub-teams, each focusing on different aspects of the project. The Fabrication Team is responsible for building and assembling the physical components, ensuring that designs are accurately transformed into real-world products. The AI & Machine Learning Team develops intelligent algorithms and models that enhance decision-making and automation within the system. The Electronics and Hardware Team designs and implements the electronic circuits and systems that power the AUV. The PR and Design Team oversees visual branding and communication strategies, creating engaging materials to showcase BongoMarine's innovations across social media and other channels. Each team plays an integral role in driving the project forward and ensuring its long-term success. In 2024, the IUB BongoMarine Alpha, the first-generation AUV team made a significant mark by reaching the finals of the prestigious Singapore Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge (SAUVC), competing against 72 teams from around the world. We aspire to make underwater technology more accessible to people, share knowledge, and inspire a new generation of innovators in this field right here in Bangladesh.
