Ubc Okanagan Marine Robotics
We're thrilled to introduce Okanagan Marine Robotics at UBC Okanagan. If you're as passionate about marine technology as we are, this club is your next port of call. We have two main focus areas: Electric Propulsion Boats and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. This is the first and only club at UBCO dedicated to autonomous vehicles! We compete in various competitions such as the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, Toronto Solar Boat Race, American Society of Naval Engineers for the Electric Propulsion Boat team, and RoboSub for the AUV team. Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs): This team is preparing to compete at the RoboSub competition by navigating through different levels of underwater obstacles. These obstacles include tasks such as shooting torpedoes, grabbing objects, dropping markers, and much more, testing the skills of our multidisciplinary team. Join the Voyage: Chat with us at Okanagan Marine Robotics, where your ideas can set sail!
