In the Pedrazzini boatyard, precious objects are created through use of wood and time. Pedrazzini has raised boat building into an art form over the last 100 years. From the infinite precision used in working the aged mahogany, to the highly complex construction of the hull, the varnishing, upholstering and application of fine inlays, each process involves the meticulous handiwork of highly skilled craftspeople. As a result, when it finally leaves the yard, each boat is the product of up to 5,500 hours – about nine months – of work. The result takes the form of ageless and precious rarities. SERVICE COMPETENCE IS JUST HALF THE STORY. THE OTHER HALF IS LOVE. No one knows better the care that a boat needs than the specialists who have expended time and quality-focused construction skills to create it. Das 1997 in Portalban gegründete Atelier du Port bietet eine umfassende Palette an Dienstleistungen für den Bau, die Wartung und den Verkauf von Schiffen an und stützt sich dabei auf eine Tradition des Handwerks und der Innovation. Die beiden 2004 in Gletterens errichteten Hallen ermöglichen das ganze Jahr über qualitativ hochwertige Arbeiten sowie die wettergeschützte Lagerung von Booten im Winter.
