SMK Negeri 3 Buduran Sidoarjo, built on an area of nearly 4.5 ha, is located in Siwalanpanji Village, Buduran District, Sidoarjo. Not many people know or know more about SMK Negeri 3 Buduran Sidoarjo, East Java. But when mentioning the name STM Shipping or familiar with the designation STM PAL probably remembers it right away. PAL, or rather PT PAL Indonesia, is known as the largest shipbuilding company in this country. STM PAL was founded on the initiative of BJ Habibie when he served as Minister of Research and Technology in 1989. STM Pal immediately became the target of junior high school graduates in Sidoarjo, even from out of town. But the entry selection is very strict. Not all junior high school graduates with high scores can enter this school. Even before the existence of STM Pal, PT PAL Indonesia Education and Training had been established also on the initiative of Mr. BJ Habibie to prepare superior human resources who had skills and were ready to work at PT PAL Indonesia.
