Die Unternehmensgründung erfolgte 1981 durch Johann Berger Senior als Einmannbetrieb in Stockerau. Seither beschäftigt sich die Berger GmbH mit der Entwicklung, Produktion und dem Vertrieb von Sportmatten, Spiel-und Sportgeräten aus Schaumstoff, Sportnetzen, Schutznetzen und Seilspielgeräten.Im Jahr 1986 wurde die Generalvertretung der Netzfabrik Manfred Huck für Österreich übernommen. Die Firma HUCK ist eine der bedeutendsten Netzhersteller und liefert neben Sportnetzen auch Schutznetze und Seilspielgeräte. Zur Produktion der Matten werden ausschließlich Vormaterialien von höchster Qualität verwendet. So sind alle verwendeten Verbundschaumstoffe und PU-Weichschaumstoffe nach ÖKO Tex 100 zertifiziert. Ein Großteil der verwendeten Bezugsmaterialien ist phthalatfrei! In den vergangen Jahren konnten auch einige Patente und Gebrauchsmuster angemeldet werden. Diverse Innovationsurkunden unterstreichen die Bemühungen, immer wieder neue Produkte auf den Markt zu bringen. Whatever comes to your mind regarding kitesurfing evolution in the past 20 years - we took part in it.
