Ubconnect

UBConnect is a market-leading provider of digital infrastructure for mobile networks in Norway. We are an increasingly important participant in the expansion of 5G networks in the European market. We design, build, and upgrade the base stations for next-generation mobile networks. UBConnect is expanding the 5G networks in small and large cities, along the windy coast and high up in the mountains in the most remote corners of Norway. We also contribute actively to building 5G networks in several other European countries. Building 5G networks is complicated work, requiring optimal performance at all levels. Altibox Carrier provides international connectivity and high-speed data services across the Nordics and Europe. The company operates the NO-UK subsea cable between Norway and the UK, and the Skagen Fiber West cable between Norway and Denmark, integrated with an extensive terrestrial network. Altibox Carrier is co-owned by Lyse and HitecVision. The Altibox Carrier network, including its large metro network in Oslo, connects major sites across Northern Europe (including Hamburg, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Brussels, London and Dublin).
