Corn Belt Energy Corporation
The largest not-for profit electric cooperative in Illinois, Corn Belt Energy is owned by the members it serves and is committed to providing reliable, affordable power. Founded in 1938 to bring electricity to rural residents, Corn Belt Energy now provides power to over homes and businesses throughout 18 counties in Central Illinois. We employ nearly 85 people and maintain over miles of line throughout our vast territory. Our electricity is supplied by Wabash Valley Power Association, a generation and transmission cooperative based in Indianapolis, and we supply natural gas to Nicor Gas customers across Illinois through the Customer Select program. The cooperative is governed by 13 directors who are residential members and who represent specific districts within our service territory. Educating members on energy efficiency and safety are top priorities and we are committed to supporting our communities in a variety of ways, including our Education Grants Program and our participation in the national Youth to Washington Tour. In the past 75+ years, our membership base has changed dramatically from primarily farmers to an ever-increasing number of urban, suburban and commercial accounts. While retaining our rural farm heritage, we now serve many of the new residential subdivisions and commercial areas in Bloomington-Normal as well as in other communities. While we've accomplished our original goal of bringing electricity to rural areas, we're now faced with a new challenge: helping cooperative members use energy wisely in a world increasingly reliant on electricity. Corn Belt Energy is a member of the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Corn Belt Energy has been a member of Touchstone Energy since its inception in 1998.

Del-Co Water Company
Del-Co Water, a 501-C (12) corporation, is a private, non-profit public drinking water system with a service area that extends into eight central Ohio counties. As a public water supplier, Del-Co Water operates under the authority of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA). A license (PWS-2101412) issued by Ohio EPA covers the operation, maintenance, and water quality activities related to the four water treatment facilities, the network of underground piping, and a series of 30 elevated storage tanks. Over the years Del-Co Water has increased the capacity of the drinking water system in response to the rapid population growth in the central Ohio region. The current design capacity of the treatment facilities is 45.5 million gallons of drinking water per day. Del-Co Water is currently reviewing demographic projections and expects continued growth of residential communities within the Del-Co service area. With this information, Del-Co Water will keep pace with future expansion by identifying and designing key infrastructure elements. The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (“WSA” or “the Authority”) has been delivering quality water and wastewater service to Douglas County residents since 1986, and we have been performing our innovative stormwater management service since 2003. Our motto, “Award-Winning Service For Our Local Community”, shows the pride which exists in the quality of these services, and we operate with that mission – and you – in mind 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our goal in water and wastewater treatment and stormwater management is to protect, maintain, and enhance the environment, public health, safety, and welfare of the general public. Over the years, WSA’s services, including stormwater management, have won awards locally, state-wide, and nationally. With over $400 million in net-fixed assets, we currently have the ability to treat 23 million gallons of drinking water and approximately six million gallons of wastewater each day. We’re not only keeping pace with our booming community, but we’re also making major changes now that will meet demands for decades to come. In June of 2008, we completed a two-year project to build the new South Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, currently permitted to treat 6.0 million gallons of wastewater per day with the expansion capability to treat 12.0 million gallons per day. In May of 2009, the ten-year project to raise the level of the Dog River Reservoir an additional 10 feet was completed. The extra 10 feet increases the storage capacity of raw water from 1.2 billion gallons to almost 2 billion gallons. Most recently, the project to increase the treatment capacity of the Bear Creek Water Treatment Plant from 16 million gallons per day to 23 million gallons per day was completed.
