Pollutech Enviroquatics Limited
Pollutech EnviroQuatics Limited is a member of the Pollutech Group of Companies Inc, a partnership among Pollutech Environmental Limited, Pollutech EnviroQuatics Limited, and Pollutech GeoEnvironmental Limited. Since 1969 this partnership has offered independent, wholly Canadian-owned environmental consulting services nationally and internationally from offices in Point Edward (Sarnia) and Oakville, Ontario. Pollutech EnviroQuatics Limited has operated an aquatic toxicity testing research laboratory, in Sarnia and now in Point Edward, Ontario, Canada, continuously since the early 1970's. This research laboratory has been performing routine compliance bioassays as well as developing new and innovative bioassay and biomonitoring techniques for over 30 years. This research expertise, together with other corporate capabilities provides a unique addition to any environmental project team. For example, Pollutech's process engineering group routinely use toxicity tests to determine the toxic component(s) of wastewater streams and to test methods for treatment of the component(s). Legislative changes and a change in the attitude of the general public towards the environment has made aquatic biological testing of chemicals and effluent discharges a necessity for assessing potential aquatic impacts. Though the trend has historically been to conduct in depth chemical analysis to determine environmental conditions, biological testing has become an increasingly major component of environmental monitoring. While chemical analysis provides an indication of the contaminant levels, biological testing provides a measure of the potential effects these contaminants have on aquatic biota. Typical toxicity testing species include a variety of freshwater pelagic(rainbow trout, Daphnia magna, Fathead Minnow, Ceriodaphnia dubia, African Clawed Frog and the algal species Selenastrum capricornutum)freshwater sediment (Hyalella azteca, Chironomus tentans, Chironomus riparius, Hexagenia limbata, Tubifex tubifex) and various marine (sea urchins, marine amphipods and fish - Silverside minnows) species. As an aquatic toxicity testing laboratory Pollutech EnviroQuatics Limited is accredited by Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc.(CALA) for specific toxicity tests. Toxicity tests for which Pollutech EnviroQuatics is accreditated can be found at the web address Other services include but not limited to environmental consulting, project management, aquatic, sediment and soil toxicity testing services, air emissions assessment, environmental permitting, industrial hygiene, designated substance surveys, commercial/environmental diving, wastewater treatability studies, toxicity identification evaluations (TIE), environmental monitoring services, etc.

Vets Around The Corner Community Veterinarian Program
Vets Around the Corner Community Veterinarian Program (CVP) is a federally registered not-for-profit organization—the first of its kind in Canada—dedicated to breaking down barriers to veterinary care. We believe pets are family, yet too many face challenges in accessing care due to mobility limitations, disabilities, housing insecurity, or other social determinants of health. Our mission is simple: ensure that no pet is left without care, and no family is left without support. Our innovative delivery model is built on two core pillars: Mobile Veterinary Care – In partnership with human health and social service organizations—including Community Paramedics, Public Health, and community agencies—our teams respond to referrals for individuals who cannot access traditional clinics. Using a retrofitted ambulance, we bring a fully functional veterinary exam space directly to their doorstep, delivering examinations, vaccinations, treatments, and preventive care on-site. Community Programs – Our volunteer-driven team is fully mobile and self-sufficient, capable of setting up a complete veterinary clinic anywhere—from community centers to parks, shelters, or fairs. Partnering with municipalities, shelters, and local organizations, we provide low-cost rabies and microchip clinics, vaccination drives, and wellness events. These programs strengthen the human–animal bond, improve public health, and expand affordable veterinary access where it is needed most. Beyond service delivery, CVP is also research-driven. In collaboration with epidemiologists and public health experts, we collect and analyze data to measure outcomes, identify service gaps, and refine programs. This evidence-based approach ensures that our efforts remain impactful, adaptable, and sustainable.
