Slu University Animal Hospital Uds

At the University Animal Hospital (UDS) of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), general veterinary medicine and qualified animal health care are practiced around the clock. UDS can offer expertise in most clinical areas. Through our collaboration with academic teachers, researchers, lecturers and professors at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (VH faculty), who participate in the clinical practice, we have access to leading expertise in many clinical areas. In addition to the large and small animal clinics, we run an advanced diagnostic imaging practice, and at the clinical chemical laboratory, annually large sample volumes from all over the world are being handled. The UDS has also an ambulatory clinic, which serves farm animals in neighbouring areas.

4bens Rehab - Smartwalker

På 4bens Rehab arbetar vi för att öka hundens välbefinnande genom rehabilitering och förebyggande friskvård. Det gör vi genom att vara väl utbildade och ha god praktisk erfarenhet. Att försöka finna bakomliggande orsaker till eventuella aktionsproblem och se grundproblemet och hålla oss uppdaterade beträffande nya forskningsrön och behandlingsmetoder. På 4bens Rehab arbetar UPH-utbildad Cert. Canineopat, Cert ReDog Rehbiliteringsterapeut och Dipl. hundmassör. UPHs utbildningar är KU-godkända och är under statlig tillsyn. Och Cert. Biomedicinsk Laserterapeut. 4bens Rehab inriktar sig särskilt på vår 4benta vän hunden men kan även arbeta med katt m.fl. smådjur. Vi använder oss av GSHIM - djupverkande Massageteknik där vi lokaliserar och arbetar med musklerna specifikt ( ej att förväxlas med avslappningsmassage ) Laser - direktverkande på muskler och cellnivå Vattenlöpband - träning för muskler och rörelser med minsta möjliga belastning på leder Rörelseträning och Vikt i Balans. Föreläsningar och kurser inom fysioterapiområdet 4bens Rehab är återförsäljare av vattentraskaren SMARTWALKER, ett vattenlöpband för dig oavsett om du är hundägare eller arbetar med rehab och friskvård. Vad gör Svenska Djurambulansen? Svenska Djurambulansen är en ideell förening som gör precis det som namnet antyder, transporterar skadade eller sjuka djur till veterinär eller annan lämplig instans. Föreningen drivs med tanken att inget djur ska behöva lida, och startades 2008 av William Wright. Just nu har vi 2 djurambulanser som täcker Västra Götalands län och 2 djurambulanser som täcker Stockholms län. Visionen är att en dag finnas i hela Sverige och vi jobbar hårt för att vidareutveckla till nya regioner. De personer som kör ambulanserna gör detta ideellt och får således inte betalt. Föreningen får inga statliga bidrag utan är helt beroende av stödmedlemmar, donationer, sponsorer och gåvor. För djur och djurägare är det helt gratis att åka med Svenska Djurambulansen och vi finns tillgängliga dygnet runt, året om.
