Currently employed with the New Mexico Boards and Commissions licenses and regulates more than 30 different professions and specialized trades, from accountants to funeral directors. This division establishes educational, training and specialized standards to ensure New Mexicans receive quality care and services from qualified professionals. Each board and commission has its own set of rules and regulations, and licensing requirements. Its members are appointed by the Governor of New Mexico, and they work closely with the Superintendent of the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department to protect consumer rights while promoting good business practices and economic growth. Previously employed by the CYFD/ State of NM to oversee and manage Quality Assurance at each Juvenile Justices Service Youth Detention and Reintegration facilities throughout the State of NM. Previous employed by the Department of Public Safety to investigated civil rights violations, and to provide EEOC training to law enforcement and civilian personnel. Previously employed as a Relations/ Labor Specialists with Children Youth and Families Department. Assist Division Director's with the progressive discipline process, general Human Resources duties to include attending unemployment, State Personnel Board and Arbitration hearings. Assist the Employees with the internal grievance process and respond to Union Grievances.
