About A. El-Sayed

Amr El-Sayed epitomizes a harmonious fusion of academia, medical expertise, and marketing acumen. Having attained a master's degree from Cairo University in collaboration with the Institute of Micro- and Molecular Biology at Justus Liebig University (JLU) and the Central Labs of Hesse State (LHL), Germany, he subsequently earned his PhD from the Institute of Micro- and Molecular Biology, JLU, Germany, in conjunction with the Institute of Hygiene and Animal Infectious Diseases (JLU, Germany), achieving an exemplary grade of 1. His academic journey continued with postdoctoral roles at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology (JLU) and later at LHL, where he functioned as an independent researcher. During his tenure at JLU and LHL, Amr El-Sayed demonstrated his innovative prowess by submitting numerous patents for registration, particularly in the realms of Electrophoresis and DNA extraction methods. Engaging in collaborative efforts with diverse international teams from Germany, Argentina, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Mexico, and Turkey, his research primarily focused on addressing challenges related to Streptococcal and Staphylococcal infections, Mycobacterium avium, Mycobacterium bovis, and Avian influenza. His prolific academic career is underscored by the publication of over 94 international papers and the submission of 25 entries to Genbank. Committed to advancing his skills, Amr El-Sayed pursued a Sonography course at Charite in Berlin for early tumor diagnosis and another course on the early diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus using Ultrasonics at Esaote, Germany. In tandem with his scientific pursuits, he delved into the realm of marketing, completing the Project Management Professional (PMP) program at Technische Universität (TU) Kaiserslautern, Germany. Further honing his marketing skills, he underwent the Kollmann Selling Skills Training Course (level 1, 2, and 3), participated in Constructive Negotiations Seminars, and undertook various Advanced Communication and Team Building Courses. His professional journey in marketing unfolded at MSD, Bracco, and Takeda in Germany. Presently, he serves as the linchpin for research, training, and technical support at Life Circle Nutrition in Switzerland.
