30+ years piping experience in the role of Senior Piping Designer / Field Engineer / Senior Engineer Piping for several customers. Description of work I did so far- Development of Overall Plot plans- Plant Designs and Piping systems (Revamp and Grass Root)- Pipe Support Design- Affinity with Pipe Stress Analysis- Affinity with Piping Materials- Utilizing design system for the production of basic piping design deliverables- Generate bulk material take offs for piping materials- Effectively communicates with other engineering disciplines- Ensure effective management of change- Responsible for schedule control- Independently develops piping studies of all piping within a designated area (incl. revamp work) with the use of plot plans, Piping & Instrument Diagrams, equipment data sheets, etc, in accordance with instructions, specifications, and standards- Take account into: expansion and supporting requirements, the allocated materials in the bulk MTO, HSE requirements, operational and maintenance requirements, ergonomics, etc. as well as schedule- Determining of platform and structure requirements and layouts, to accommodate the related piping, equipment and other relevant installations- Asses the layout of equipment with respect to process, maintenance, operations, constructability and cost, and determines the location & orientation of connections on static equipment- Maintains and promotes a focus on Customer end product whether engineering, fabrication or construction.
