About Me:**I am a dedicated and driven Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. In my current role, I am working on experiments domain of project "Gust effects on Rotors," passionately delving into UAV and MHAV aerodynamics.**Professional Journey:**Having completed my Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras, I gained extensive experience in experimental fluid mechanics. My doctoral thesis explored the effects of rotational rates on flow characteristics, a contribution that earned crucial insights into transitional Reynolds numbers and laminar-to-chaotic flow transitions.**Skillset:** The crux of my research lies in employing advanced laser diagnostic techniques, primarily Particle Image Velocimetry and Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence, to quantify and comprehend the complexities of unstable fluid flows. I too have knowledge of software like ANSYS-Fluent, MATLAB, and COMSOL.**Project Engagements and Growth.**Engaging in diverse projects with renowned research institutions and organizations like the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has significantly enriched my research acumen in experimental fluid mechanics applications. These experiences have deepened my understanding of industry challenges and strategies for effective resolution. I've played a crucial role in constructing experimental facilities from the ground up, enhancing my skills in project management and collaborative teamwork.**Education and Awards:**I hold a Doctor of Philosophy from IIT Madras, specializing in Experimental Fluid Mechanics. Additionally, I earned a Master of Technology in Heat Transfer through Porous Media from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET). My academic journey has been supported by MHRD, HTRA Fellowships from the Government of India.**Research Interests:**My passion lies in exploring the hydrodynamics and aerodynamics of bluff bodies, fluid-structure interaction, wall proximity effects for rotating and translating bodies, sediments transport, sports aerodynamics, environmental fluid mechanics, and gust flows in aerodynamic applications.
